| The decline in the physical health of college students is a problem that society is concerned about and needs to be solved urgently.High-intensity interval training(HIIT),as a new,time-saving and efficient training method,has been rapidly developed and applied in European and American countries since it was first applied in the 1960 s.In the field of competitive sports,HIIT effectively reduces the occurrence of sports injuries due to its time-saving,efficient and fast recovery characteristics.In the field of mass fitness,HIIT training can effectively enhance the body’s fitness,improve the body’s cardiovascular ability and many other advantages.In this study,using literature methods,experimental methods,and mathematical statistics,80 non-physical students(40 males and 40 females)were given HIIT training 3 times a week for a total of 12 weeks(36 times),and their bodies were tested before and after the intervention.Composition and aerobic exercise capacity index.The comparative analysis of the changes of various indicators before and after the intervention provides a reference for the application in the promotion of the physical health of college students.The HIIT training method in this study is running,each training time is 28 minutes,the training intensity is 80-90% VO2max(heart rate is about 180-190±5bpm),and the intermittent intensity is 50-55% VO2max(heart rate is about 140 ±6bpm).The adaptation phase is 4 weeks,and the weekly inter-group training and interval are 15 s,30s,1min,2min;the improvement phase is 8 weeks,the inter-group training and interval are 4min.The body composition index calculated after measurement,including body fat percentage,Skeletal muscle percentage,waist-to-hip ratio,body mass index;aerobic exercise capacity indicators,including vital capacity,maximum oxygen uptake,cardiopulmonary indicators(heart rate,lung ventilation,oxygen uptake),running performance(male 1000 Meters,800 meters for girls).The T test compares the differences between male and female students before and after the intervention,the significance level is P<0.05,and the extremely significant level is P<0.01.The results show:Comparing before and after the intervention,the indicators of significant changes in body composition in the male and female groups are: body mass index,skeletal muscle percentage,and basal metabolism;body fat percentage and waist-to-hip ratio only have significant differences in the male group.There was no significant difference in body fat percentage and waist-to-hip ratio in the female group(p>0.05)Comparing before and after the intervention,the indicators of aerobic exercise capacity that have significant changes in the male and female groups are: vital capacity,cardiopulmonary indicators(heart rate,lung ventilation,oxygen uptake),maximum oxygen uptake and running There was a significant difference in performance only in the male group.There were no significant differences in the maximum oxygen uptake and running performance indexes of the female group before and after the intervention(p>0.05).Through this research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The HIIT program implemented by this institute can effectively improve the aerobic exercise capacity of college students;(2)There are gender differences in the intervention effects of HIIT training on male and female college students;(3)HIIT can significantly improve the skeletal muscle growth of male and female college students,increase the basic metabolism of the body;significantly improve the level of body fat metabolism in men;(4)HIIT can significantly increase the vital capacity of male and female college students,increase the economic ability of running,and significantly improve the aerobic exercise performance of men. |
