Innovative talents play an important role in today’s society.The cultivation of innovative talents can not be separated from team cooperation and communication.Cheerleading is a team sport.Team communication is indispensable for teaching,training and competition.Team thinking communication is a powerful guarantee for the development of cheerleading.Therefore,communication among team members should be emphasized in the special training of cheerleading.This paper takes the communication ability of College cheerleading students as the research point.Based on the theory of cheerleading and communication ability,using the methods of documentation,Delphi,Analytic Hierarchy Process and mathematical statistics,it explores the characteristics of communication ability of College cheerleading students,screens the evaluation index of communication ability,calculates the weight of the index,and tests the rationality of the evaluation index.The purpose of building the evaluation index of communication ability of Cheerleading majors is to make the test means of communication ability of Cheerleading majors more scientific and reasonable.The level of communication ability of students is analyzed by data,and the advantages and disadvantages are put forward,which provides the basis for the training of communication ability and technical and tactical training of Cheerleading majors.The results show that:(1)The characteristics of communication ability of Cheerleading candidates are validity,flexibility,situational and interactive.The characteristics of communication ability provide a basis for the construction of communication ability indicators.(2)The construction principles of evaluation index of communication ability of Cheerleading candidates include comprehensive principle,feasibility principle,quantitative and qualitative principle and comparability principle.(3)Through three rounds of expert questionnaires,the evaluation indicators of communication ability of Cheerleading candidates were finally determined,including three first-level indicators of communication skills,communication awareness and communication inclination,as well as seven second-level indicators and 21 third-levelindicators.(4)Analytic hierarchy process was used to calculate the weights of all levels of indicators of communication ability of Cheerleading candidates.Among the three indicators,"role recognition","non-verbal expression" and "constructive feedback" have higher weights.They are the core indicators in the evaluation indicators and play an important role.(5)In the test of evaluation index system,the method of comparing expert subjective score with index system score is adopted.The result of the test is that the order of experts’ subjective score is consistent with that of the index system.It is considered that the evaluation index of communication ability of the selected cheerleading students established in this paper is scientific,accurate and reasonable.
