Genetics is a crucial and core subject,plays a significant rolein highschool teaching.Thefirst5chapters of compulsory2are all correlation with genetics in highschool BiologyTeaching Material,China. Cenetics play as a major knowledge frame around the wholebiological knowledge web.So it is important to appraise the student understand comprehendof genetics scientifically.So far,the main education test method is Classical Test Theory inChina.The earliest measure theory is Classical Test Theory In the education history of geodesy,this theory make math formal.The Classical Test Theory came out in19th,grew in20th30s.Thebook <Statistical theory of psychological test scores> were written by Lord and Novick,published in1968,promoting the Classical Test Theory climbing to the peakedness,made theconvert to the Modern measurement theory coming true.However,the defects of Classical TestTheory should not be ignored virtually.Since these defects,the new measurement theory areneeded for pedagogy,which can measure the true leve of person in some fields and also cananalyze individual ability level according the fact datum.This new measurement theory isItem response theory(ITR).This research evaluate the knowledge and ability level of genetics according the historyand current of biological academic evaluation, while contrapose the issues of biologicalscientific assessment,connecting with the methods such as Literature method, delphi method,paper and pencil test method et al,in the same time using Rash mode in IRT. The senior gradestudents of Dalian development zone no.1middle school were chosen as the respondents.Ascientific measurement is developed through the connecting of theory and practice. Thismeasurement contains three parts.The first part is establishing the ability dimension of biological genetics according therequests of biological genetics in Curriculum biology exam outline in2013;then designs theidiographic test project by ability dimension,protocols the test project primarily.The secondpart is using Rasch model to analye、 modify and optimize through two small areatestes,making the whole quality of tests get a promoting.The third part is putting themeasurements which are new into the practices,optimizing and completing in order to form acredible testing and evaluation tool.
