Good oral expression ability is not only the basic quality of modern talents,but also an important standard to measure the quality of modern citizens.The cultivation of oral communicative competence is one of the main teaching tasks of Chinese primary schools,which is related to the development of primary school students' language communicative competence in the future.At present,oral communication teaching is not emphasized in Chinese teaching in primary schools in China,and the teaching results are unsatisfactory.Research shows that due to various reasons,there are utilitarianism in Chinese primary school classes and inefficiency in oral communication classes.Through investigation and analysis of the present situation of the oral communication ability of the senior students in primary schools,this paper discusses the main reasons that restrict the development of their oral communication ability,i.e.lack of ideas and content.Besides,it tries to guide the senior students to use mind maps in the oral communication course as to improve the overall teaching of oral communication in primary schools.Oral communication combines the three main processes of listening,speaking and interaction,including analysis,judgment,reasoning,induction and other thinking abilities.Following the rules of memory,reading and thinking,it can open up the infinite potential of human brain.Therefore,it is feasible to apply mind mapping to oral communication teaching for senior students in Chinese primary schools because they have certain relevance and consistency,and the level of abstract logical thinking of senior primary school students has developed rapidly.The author of the article carries out research on this issue,puts forward four application principles of mind mapping in oral Chinese communication in the senior years of primary school.lt is found that mind mapping can make students express their ideas clearly,vividly and creatively in oral communication teaching with ease and pleasure,which is helpful to improve students' oral communication level.This article consists of four parts:The first part defines the three core concepts of "mind map","senior grade of primary school" and "oral communication teaching",and introduces the relevant theoretical basis.The second part:Through the questionnaire survey of the students,the problems existing in the oral communication teaching in the senior years of primary school are sorted out,and the causes are analyzed in depth.The third part introduces the methods,principles,thinking methods and practical skills of drawing mind maps,analyses the feasibility of applying mind maps to the teaching of oral Chinese communication in primary schools,puts forward four application principles of mind maps in the teaching of oral Chinese communication in the senior years of primary schools,and constructs mind maps in the senior years of primary schools.The application model of Chinese oral communication.Part IV:The author has carried out a thematic analysis of the three application cases of mind mapping in oral communication teaching in senior primary schools,namely "speech","report" and "debate".This paper summarizes the research,points out the limitations and shortcomings of the current research,and hopes that this paper can play a role in attracting valuable ideas.
