Along with the increasing frequency of international exchange,oral expression and communication ability has become one of the important measure of modern civic literacy.At the same time,the ministry of education in China is becoming more and more attention to the cultivation of middle school students’ oral communication ability.Andthe emphasis on oral communication is not only a big step forward towards qualityeducation,but also the inevitable requirement of curriculum reform,it is a mark of thematurity of the modern Chinese teaching.Chineseclass in high school class.however, the actuality of oral communication is not positive, even worrying.According to the survey,due to various reasons, there is a phenomenon of utilitarian and inefficient inlanguage classroom teaching oral communication class.And through the survey of high school students, there are also some problems in theiroral communication ability, not to the ideal level.Through analyzing the actuality of high school students’oral communication ability,this article is aimed at looking for the cause of the restraints on the development of the oral communication ability, and trying to find outan efficient learning method, in order to change the present situation of oral communication,it is being afraid ofspeaking,being incapable of speaking,even do not want to speak.As Mind mapping has the characteristics of divergency,integration and uniqueness,In recent years, as a kind of efficient tool of thinking, Mind mapping is applied to the teaching of Chinese subject gradually,such as reading and writing,while,have not found in the field of oral communication. Through the study of the theory of oral communication and mind map analysis, I found that they are fit and linked to one another.Starting from the real-life needs, There is a possibility that mind mapping is appliedto the oral communication.Accordingly,Wewill study that how the mind mapping is applied in oral communication,according five projects:reading,speech, discussions, debates and interviews——to search the meaning and significance.And through the practice, comparative analysis, to find the effectiveness of the mind map,it Helps to alleviate thecontradiction appeared in the process of education reform, and to help students improve the level of oral communication.In addition, the mind map also can develop students’oral communication ability efficiently and conveniently,to achieve an ideal communicative effect,when be introduced into the life of oral communication.This article will be discussed from three parts:The first part: points out the problem. Now study the problems existing in the oralcommunication teaching and the students’ ability of oral communication.The second part is the practical application. including five projects in the oralcommunication:reading,speech,discussions,debates,interview——and the application inlife.The third part is the conclusion. Summarize this paper,and point out the limitations andshortcomings of the present study, to hope that the application of mind mapping on oralcommunication can be get more attention and promotion.
