The report of the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China puts education in the forefront of improving people’s livelihood and strengthening social construction.It refers to strengthening the professional competence of teachers,and with the new curriculum reform and the rapid growth of the knowledge economy.The traditional teacher,already can’t satisfy the requirement of the knowledge economy era.As a high school youth political teacher,it is necessary to cultivate and improve the ability of teaching and research,and to carry out teaching work with the new role of "researcher".But the fact that many of the teachers have been teaching for a long time,and that’s what makes it so that it doesn’t have to be in the book,it’s not in the book.In particular,the high school youth political teachers,although the issue of teaching and research has aroused the attention,but the actual teaching research ability is still insufficient,urgently needs to be improved.Through questionnaire survey and interview,this paper studies the teaching and research ability of senior high school youth political teachers in eight high schools.The research is carried out from three aspects: teaching design ability,teaching and research implementation ability,teaching and research achievement transformation and promotion ability.Found that high school youth political teachers’ researching ability is strong in research consciousness,information gathering.However,due to the general lack of teaching and research experience among young teachers,the ability of teaching and research design,the implementation and control ability of the teaching and research process and the transformation and promotion ability of teaching and research results are weak.Through the analysis found that the main reason lies in the ideological understanding does not reach the designated position,unreasonable system design,the implementation mechanism is not perfect,and the research atmosphere is not strong and so on,based on this,this paper puts forward some Suggestions to cultivate the teaching and research ability of young political teachers in high schools.Emphasis should raise the ideological understanding,teaching and research culture atmosphere,improve the rules and regulations and guarantee mechanism,perfect the training mechanism,focus on high school youth political teacher’s teaching and research...
