In 2014,after the introduction of the college entrance examination reform program,the new college entrance examination model was: high school proficiency test(examination)+ mandatory exam subject + selection exam subject.After the adjustment,the students’ choice of subjects is increased.Compared with the two choices of liberal arts before the reform,the selection space for students’ test subjects is greatly improved,and how to choose to become a headache for the majority of candidates.How do students change from the initial "willing choice" to "can choose" and "will choose" and how they will change the "passive choice" to "active choice" for a long time.These have become the focus of attention of education management departments,school principals,and the public.How to guide students to choose the subjects to apply for according to their interests and professional knowledge,successfully passed the college entrance examination has become an urgent problem to be solved by the school.This also makes the little-known career education because of its pivotal role in cultivating choices and decision-making capabilities,standing at the forefront of education reform and becoming a hot topic in society.Many literature studies indicate the necessity and feasibility of implementing career education in high school.The latest "Ordinary High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" sets clear goals for high school career education.Therefore,this study combines previous research results on career education in senior high school.Through the teaching practice of "BaShu Brewing",a school-based elective course in BaShu Middle School,we explored the effect of infiltrating career education in the biological teaching of school-based elective courses on the growth of students in Biology.After reading and analyzing literature related to career education in senior high school,the author summarizes the origins of career education and the status quo of career education at home and abroad during the period of high school education,and defines "professional" and "vocational guidance","career" and "Career Education" core concepts;Questionnaire survey of the current situation of penetrating career education in biology teaching in senior secondary and senior years in Ba Shu Middle School.The results showed that:(1)The self-planning consciousness of high school students is not strong.Most of the students are not clear about the professional they will choose and the career they want to pursue in the future.They don’t have sufficient plans andpreparations for realizing their career aspirations.(2)In the pre-judgment of university majors and career choices,most students will first consider their own interests and hobbies,but when they choose to study and participate in the subjects of college entrance examination,most students will first consider the subjects they are good at;(3)Teachers in teaching very few will conduct career education,students themselves will not take the initiative to find teachers to understand the career planning related information;(4)Students generally lack understanding of career,most students believe that career education is not important and necessary in high school biology teaching,students’ awareness of career planning needs to be improved;(5)Compared with senior high school students,the more accepted one-year school education does not help them improve their career planning ability,which also reflects the school-to-students The career education is not enough,which is attributed to the school did not open a professional career education curriculum and teachers did not penetrate professional education in the usual teaching content.Secondly,based on the analysis of the questionnaire results,it proposes a strategy of infiltrating career education in high school biology teaching,and summarizes the teaching process of infiltration of career education in high school biology teaching.The author also designed experiments,wrote instructional designs in accordance with the process,and conducted practical teaching that infiltrated career education in high school biology teaching for students who took the bachelor’s elective school-based electoral course "BaShu Brewing".The questionnaire was used to test the biological maturity of the students before and after teaching,and SPSS software was used to analyze the pretest and posttest data of the biological career maturity of the experimental class students and the control class students.According to the statistical results,it shows that:(1)Infiltration of career education in biology classes in experimental classes has the effect of improving students’ professional maturity in biology.Compared with the students in the control class,the students in the experimental class had a marked improvement in their career education in the biological teaching process;(2)The occupational education in the experimental class infiltrated the career education for self and occupational awareness.Both the two dimensions of occupational cognition have been significantly improved,and students have not only learned many bio-related occupational information,but also improved their professional career planning ability and self-exploration career awareness.In general,the infiltration of career education in the biology of elective courses has an effect on students’ biological career maturity.In the senior high school stage,students’ psychological development gradually matures,and they have some longing for future life and career.Students in this period have the expectation and craving for career education.Infiltrating career education in biology teaching can help students understand biology-related occupations,self-understanding,understanding of society and career,and improve students’ biological career maturity.
