The development of the reform and opening up,urbanization,industrialization,and urban and rural household registration management systems has led to the“left-behind children group”.Parents go out to work,grandparents guardianship,the incomplete family structure has caused the children to have problems such as lack of enlightenment education,lack of family education,lack of emotional support,psychological imbalance,emotional instability,and changes in personality.With the prosperity and development of the social economy,the number of floating population has grown annually,and the scale of left-behind children has also expanded.Solving the problem of left-behind children is an inevitable requirement for building a socialist harmonious society.The macro-social system and micro-social system are closely related to the life,learning and mental health of children left behind.It is also an important source of support for left-behind children to obtain social support.Research shows that the more social support a person has,and the full use of objective social support,the more he can resist the external challenges.The article takes the theory of social support network as the theoretical guide,and selects the sample of the left-behind children in Ruoheng Town and Xinhe Town of Wenling City as the survey objects.Using quantitative research and qualitative research to analyze the status and problems of left-behind children's formal support networks and informal social support networks.The study found,there are many supportive policies issued by the government for left-behind children,but it is difficult to implement the policies and there is a lack of coordinated linkage among the subjects;The community has misunderstood the social support for left-behind children and the policy publicity is not in place;School leaders do not pay attention to the psychological development of left-behind children,class teacher's emotional support is weak;Social organization professional service personnel,lack of economic capital;Support provided by families of left-behind children decreases with the increase of the flow time;Peer groups support strong influence in the development of left-behind children,but the breadth of support is notenough and only basic companionship can be provided.In response to these conditions and problems,trying to construct a social support network for left-behind children based on the values,theories,and skills of social work,from practical reflection,suggestions are made to improve the construction of social support networks for left-behind children: The state should narrow the flexibility of policies,strengthen binding forces,enforce the policy of caring for left-behind children,and vigorously cultivate talents for social work,so that the policy "make a difference";The society and the community actively cultivate social organizations and train social organizations so that social organizations have the strength to undertake more public welfare projects;Universities need to increase the training of professional talents,and study local social work methods to make social work methods more practical and operational;The government should focus on narrowing regional development gaps and increase social work jobs;Explore social support models for left-behind children of the government,society,community and college social workers;Integrate and connect the resources of multi-party social support entities to create a healthy,harmonious and warm growth environment for left-behind children.
