The global of environmental problems is the focus of worldwide attention in various countries and fields nowadays.The mountainous area of our country is vast,and that the proportion of population in this area is also large.The success or failure of environmental education penetration in the mountain area is directly related to the vicissitude of the country’s environmental problems in the future.Geography discipline has strong comprehensiveness,particularity,practicality and applicability,which is the best carrier for environmental ethics education information.This paper adopts a variety of methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,case presentation and so on.In view of that theoretic foundation of the predecessors’ experts and scholars,this paper will focus on discussing the current situation of the geo-environmental ethic education in junior middle schools of Qiaojia County.First,this area possesses special geographical location,complicated topography and prominent environmental problems;Second,this area has economically backward,lower educational levels,teachers and students are weak in environmental awareness,and they haven’t awareness of participating in solving environmental problems;Third,there is a special shortage of full-time geography teachers in middle school,some teachers’ teaching ability is limited,that way is blankness,the goal of environment teaching is not clear,which can’t satisfy students’ demands for environmental education;Fourth,teachers and students have limited to obtain environmental knowledge,who accept outside the environment of information is less,and the urgency of the environmental problems is poor.A t the same time,in order to achieve the obvious effect of the environmental ethics education penetration,we have listed one teaching design about it.In addition,it is necessary to pay attention to the importance of environmental ethical education、clarify the targets of environment ethic education 、 improve the public awareness of environmental education、enhance the training of teachers in terms of multiple channels、diversity of the environmental the education 、develop of local environmental ethics educationreading and other ways to strengthen the teaching ability of environmental ethics education for junior high school geography teachers and to cultivate students’ correct environmental awareness,to further strengthen students’ sense of responsibility and mission,and actively participate in social practical activities,which is the immediate responsibility and obligation of the people in the remote mountains,the sustainable development of human-land relationship is our common goal.
