With the development and progress of human society,natural resources are constantly being occupied and consumed,and many serious environmental problems have also emerged.Environmental issues are concerned by all sectors of society,and the education system is also seeking for an effective way to solve environmental problems.Under this situation,the environmental education came into being.According to the situation that environmental education is suitable to penetrate into subject teaching,this article studies the physical and mental characteristics of junior high school students,refers to the contents related to environment in junior high school biology textbooks,emphasizes the necessity of introducing environmental education in the teaching of junior high school biology,and put forward relevant suggestions on this basis.The school environmental education system has been well established in some countries,such as United States,the United Kingdom,Japan,Australia.By comparing and analyzing the progress of environmental education in China,it can be found that the research on environmental education in China is not thorough enough.The design of related extracurricular activities is relatively small.Besides,from the teacher level,there is a lack of countermeasure analysis,and there is a lack of legislation on environmental education at the national level.In the Jinan version of the junior high school biology textbook,the "people in the biosphere" is the main line,and seven units are set up,including the wonderful life phenomenon,the colorful biological world,the people in the biosphere,the continuation of species,the evolution of life,and the biology and environment,biotechnology.For the specific content in each chapter,specific environmental education suggestions are made,which are for teachers’ reference.It involves three aspects: environmental science knowledge,environmental legal knowledge,and environmental ethics.This article takes students from some schools in Anqiu City,Shandong Province as the research object,and distributes questionnaires to them,and then carry out analysis.According to the analysis results,it is found: although students have mastered certain environmental knowledge in the learning process of junior high school,there are still some problems.For example,students’ understanding of laws and regulations is not solid enough,their knowledge of environmental science in daily life is not accurate enough,they are not active in urging others to participate in environmental protection actions,and there are few opportunities for them to participate in environmental protection activities.Through investigation and research on students in several schools in Anqiu City,Shandong Province,combined with the advanced experience of foreign environmental education,based on multiple levels such as schools,teachers,parents,and social organizations,the author puts forward the implementation ways and suggestions of introducing environmental education into junior middle school biology.The author suggests conducting environmental education for students as follows: teaching the related knowledge of environmental education to students in class,holding extracurricular environmental protection activities,making full use of We Chat,QQ and other network tools,holding environmental education knowledge lectures,utilizing multimedia teaching platforms,regularly organizing biological knowledge contests on environmental protection,etc.The author recommends strengthening the explanation of environmental laws and regulations and related content in the teaching process,introducing more environmental science knowledge in daily life in the teaching process,organizing environmental protection activities regularly through biology teaching,paying attention to cultivate students’ environmental awareness and behavior in daily life.In addition,when teachers participate in environmental education,they must demonstrate by example,and participate in the reasonable and persistent manner.Moreover,it is proposed that environmental education can be introduced through other channels,it is necessary to strengthen contact with parents and social organizations.
