From Cohabitation To Symbiosis:An Exploratory Research On The Cooperation Performance Of Social Work Institution And Community Residents Committee

With the further development of society,the residents' life needs have been transformed from the basic living guarantee to the "ever-growing needs for a better life",as the main provider of community management and services in fact,community residents committees are increasingly unable to meet the needs of residents due to the multi-party intervention and their own capacity constraints.Under this realistic background,social organizations have become the trend by participating in venture philanthropy and bidding for service in the community,and most of the successful bidders are private-owned social work institution.In the social work service purchase,interaction and cooperation between private social work institution as community "outcomer" and community residents committees are bound to become hot topics in the social work field and have strong research significance.This article takes the case study method as the starting point of the research,selects the community residents committee Z and its only resident social work organization F in Nanjing as the research object,relies on the operation of the F institution project,and uses the methods of participatory observation,interview and business research to collect first-hand information,from the perspective of symbiosis theory,this paper constructs the relation analysis framework of "resource interdependence-organizational autonomy",from the aspects of cooperation investment,cooperation management,cooperation output,and cooperation results,a set of cooperation performance evaluation system is designed to evaluate the cooperation performance of the two under different types of interaction.This study truly describes the dynamic relationship from "cohabitation-asymmetric symbiosis-symmetry and mutualism symbiosis" between social work institution and residents committees during the operation of the project.This study shows that the cooperative performance between the two parties has been changed from inefficiency to improvement,and to the amazing results of change.Practice has proved that when social work institution and residents committees reached or reached an infinitely symmetry and mutualism symbiosis relationship,they are conducive to optimizing the cooperation performance.However,under the current macroscopic environment in China,the government and social organizations still remain in an asymmetric symbiotic relationship,let alone the grass-roots residents committees and social work institution.Therefore,we put forward suggestions on aspects such as transferring power space,clarifying responsibilities and balancing interests so as to enhance the cooperation performance to promote the symmetry and mutualism symbiosis relationship between them,and innovate the governance at the grassroots level.
