Study On The Affecting Factors And Expectations Of LGBT's Intimate Relationship

In heterosexual mainstream society,intimate relationships between sexual minorities(LGBT community)are an unknown for most non-LGBT people.Even for LGB individuals,it is hard to see how their peers handle intimate relationships and how to live.After interviewing seven LGBT individuals in depth,I learned about the affecting factors of LGBT's intimate relationship,and their perceptions and expectations of intimate relationships.There are several characteristics in LGBT community relationship.They build a relationship through the Internet.The duration of the relationship vary from person to person.Faced with conflicts and break up,they tend to solve the problem rationly.Relationship can only maintain short.It is hard to accept new form of relationship.The intrinsic factors that affecting the intimate relationships of LGBT community are attractive,preferences and values,and appropriate feedback.The external factors that affecting factors are coming out,common life circle,family of origin,and the model of intimate relationship.The bottom line of intimacy is the balance of social exchange.The influence of love on the bottom line of intimacy is relatively large,and the influence of external factors is relatively small.The balance sometimes involves power.It is necessary to enrich feelings(passion),good communication(close),a common goal and life yearning for the future(commitment),the intersection of life circle,inclusive environment of the society,for an ideal relationship.The influence of heterosexual perspective on the relationship of LGBT community is manifested as heterosexual model,role division and gender temperament.There are no stereotype of "male" and "female" roles,but intimate relationship is influenced by differences in personality,active and passive,the relationship between care and to be taken care of.This relationship is likely to cause imbalance of power.The sex role is not rfixed,and the LGBT community is more valued for mutual benefit and feedback.The sexual nature of the LGBT community in intimate relationships is deliberately shaped,which lifts the limits and frees up the nature of its own,while increasing possibilities and fluidity.The LGBT community does not have an impact on its own intrinsic characteristics due to the role of gender.But the gender temperament influences the intimacy of the LGBT community itself,with the influence of patriarchy.The LGBT people think that the legalization of gay marriage(and even the legalization of the entire LGBT community)and raising children are the legal rights of the LGBT community.The multivariate family system can expand the imagination of the family,but it is a bit ahead of Chinese society.Now it is important to solve the discrimination against the LGBT community and establish the basic law.Marriage of convenience is not a good solution for the LGBT community.The development of society and the open concept help to improve the acceptance of LGBT community.LGBT community expects better visibility,more equality and tolerance,so that LGBT community can focus on their intimate relationship,not considering the pressure of the society.Only in this way,LGBT community can enjoy their own intimate relationship.
