Social responsibility has always been one of the important ethic qualities advocated by the Chinese nation since ancient times,which not only is of crucial importance to the personal development but is related to the country's prospect and fate.As the future and hope of the country and nation,the senior high school students should pay much attention to their cultivation of the social responsibility.The ideological and political class is regarded as the mainland or mainstream bringing up the social responsibility of senior high school students,its character,concept and teaching design offer the possibility of raising senior high school students' social responsibility.Therefore,the ideological and political class should play a great role as ethic teaching and the ways and methods should be explored to cultivate the social responsibility of senior high school students so as to bring up the students who are able to undertake the historic undertakings featuring the country's boom,the nation's rejuvenation as well as people' wellbeing.With the data analysis of the questionnaires on senior high school students,there are lots of questions about the senior school students' social responsibility nowadays which mainly feature the following aspects: the obscure ideas and faith;the ignorance of others' legitimate interests;the weak thought of gratefulness;shortage of the service thinking and the environment-protecting conducts.There exist the following problems in the ideological and political class in senior high school on cultivating the students' social responsibility: teachers in their mind discount the cultivation of the social responsibility;teachers emphasize the knowledge but ignore the emotional objective of developing the responsibility;misusing the teaching methods limits the form of the students' responsibility;copying the text materials into the class can't connect with the real situation about the social responsibility;paying much attention to the paper marks decreases the evaluation of the students' social responsibility;the teachers don't set good examples to the their students in the education of responsibility.Those problems lead to the worse teaching effects in the ideological and political teaching so that the class doesn't carry out the real function of the moral education.According to the questions above,the teaching of the ideological and political class should do well in following aspects based on the guiding principles of subjectivity,development,otherness and practice: First,teachers should implement three-dimensional targets and highlight the emotional goals of the cultivation in senior high school students' social responsibility.Second,teachers may as well employ a variety of teaching ways in which the students can experience the responsibility in exploratory and practical activities.Third,teachers should enrich the teaching contents about courses combining the life and the latest news related to politics to fulfill the teaching resources of social responsibility.Fourth,teachers should strengthen formative evaluation and perfect the evaluation system of social responsibility in teaching.Fifth,teachers should reinforce their responsibility and play an excellent role in being a model of virtues for students.In the specific teaching practices,the teachers of the ideological and political class have to make a serious analysis on the teaching resources before class,make a deep knowledge of students,design the examples in a scientific way and focus highly on the cultivation of senior high school students' social responsibility.In the process of class teaching,teachers should employ steps such as the lead-in part,the teaching of new classes,the expansion and extension,the consolidation after finishing a new class and the assignment feedback to conduct the teaching tasks of bringing up social responsibility of senior high school students.After completing a class,teachers should make retrospections and improvement,promote the teaching design in an increasing way connecting with the teaching effects on the cultivation of senior high school students' social responsibility to make sure that teachers make the most of the teaching of the ideological and political class in cultivating social responsibility of senior high school students.
