Chinese character is one of the oldest ideographic characters in the world.It has developed continuously in 3600.As a written language communication symbol,it not only writes the history of the Chinese nation,but also contains the splendid culture of 5000.Because Chinese is our mother tongue teaching,learning good Chinese characters means a lot to every Chinese.As an important part of Chinese teaching,the research on Chinese character teaching in junior middle school is relatively scattered in theory and practice.How to cultivate students’ Chinese character cultural literacy through Chinese character teaching and how to strengthen cultural identity is a very meaningful research topic.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is to elaborate the related concepts such as Chinese character and its teaching.The second chapter is to elaborate and analyze the current situation of Chinese character teaching in junior middle school,the third chapter is to strengthen the significance of Chinese character teaching in junior middle school Chinese teaching.The teaching of Chinese characters in junior high school has important practical significance and is helpful to cultivate students’ cultural literacy of Chinese characters and strengthen their cultural identity.Chapter 4th expounds the effective countermeasures of teaching Chinese characters in middle schools.Strategies and implementation of the stage of how to carry out the junior middle school Chinese character teaching to provide an operational scheme.
