A Survey And Research On Chinese Cultural Identity Among Korean Junior High School Chinese Learners

This paper clarifies the importance of Chinese language learners' recognition of Chinese culture firstly.Then,based on the cultural identity theory in second language acquisition,combined with one year's teaching practice in Korea,by means of questionnaires,surveyed 140 junior high school students in the Chinese class of Neejeong Middle School in Gyeonggi Province.The subjects investigated the status quo of Chinese cultural identity of Korean junior high school Chinese learners,and conducted a comprehensive multi-angle analysis of the survey results.The design of the questionnaire is based on the achievements of predeessors and has been modified and innovated in combination with the purpose of this survey.The questionnaire includes three parts: basic personal information,cultural teaching-related,and cultural identity scale.Among them,the cultural elements of the cultural identity scale are mainly based on the three cultural levels of "material,behavior,and spirit",selected from the current Chinese education syllabus and Chinese textbooks of Korean junior high schools,and are based on the "cognition,emotion,and behavior" three stages of cultural identity to set up questions,and then the Likert 5 scale was used to ask respondents to rate them.In addition to the quantitative way,it also combines personal interviews with CPIK Chinese teachers to supplement the survey results.The survey results are mainly descriptive analysis,cultural level category analysis and influencing factor difference analysis,and finally come to the following four conclusions: 1.Generally speaking,Korean junior middle school Chinese learners have a moderate level of identification with Chinese culture.2.From the perspective of cultural level,from the Chinese material culture,behavioral culture to spiritual culture,the level of identity of Korean junior high school Chinese learners decreases in order;3.From the perspective of the identity stage,Korean junior high school The Chinese cultural identity of Chinese learners does not show an obvious progressive characteristic from "cognition" to "emotion" to "behavior";4.In addition to the "gender factor","Chinese performance,learning motivation,information" "Channel" shows some correlation with the level of Chinese cultural identity of Korean junior high school Chinese learners.Based on the above analysis of the survey results,the last chapter of this article puts forward suggestions on improving the Chinese culture teaching in Korean junior high schools and enhancing the Chinese cultural identity of Korean junior middle school Chinese learners from the perspective of teaching content,students' perspectives,and Chinese and Korean teachers' perspectives.Hope to contribute to the overseas Chinese international education and Chinese culture "going out".
