With the advent of the knowledge-based economy era,all countries in the world have proposed talent training programs with national characteristics.In order to move from a large human resource to a powerful human resource,China has also raised new requirements for the cultivation of Core Competencies and Values educated people.With the "Macro-History" prevailing in history teaching,the development of history teaching tends to cultivate students' abilities.China has put forward "Core Competencies and Values for Chinese Students' Development." The idea of time and space is one of the important contents of the core literacy of the history discipline.The concept of time and space for training senior high school students has important practical and theoretical significance for history teaching.Nowadays,how to cultivate the concept of time and space for high school students has become an important research field for history teachers in various schools and regions.The author took part in high schools in Jining and Xining of Shandong Province as the survey objects.Through surveys and interviews with high school students and teachers,I learned that high school students are not clear about their own time and space concepts under the influence of many factors.In view of the importance of space-time concepts,the author elaborates several methods for cultivating high school students' time and space concepts through theoretical and practical examples based on the analysis of numerous theoretical foundations,combined with their actual teaching experience and experience,and on the basis of previous experience.Apart from the introduction,this article is divided into four chapters.The introduction part elaborates the background and significance of this paper from two dimensions: the new curriculum reform in our country and the nature of history education.The first chapter mainly introduces the necessity and value of cultivating the concept of time and space in high school students.From the proposal of the “Macro-History”,the trend of contemporary history teaching,and the proposal of the “Core Competencies and Values” of the history discipline,the necessity of cultivating the concept of time and space was introduced.From the aspects of understanding history and improving the knowledge system of senior high school students,the value of fostering high school students' concept of time and space is discussed.In the second chapter,according to the author's investigation and interview results of some senior high schools in Jining,Shandong and Xining,Qinghai,the author analyzes the status quo of training high school students' time and space concepts,from the form of high school history textbook compilation,the concept of high school history teacher education and teaching,and the problems of high school students themselves.The three dimensions analyze the reasons why the high school students are weak in time and space.The third chapter expounds the methods of cultivating high school students' concept of time and space from three aspects: the updating of teachers' educational concepts,the optimization of teachers' teaching strategies,and the use of teaching aids.In the fourth chapter,with the case of Poetry and Fiction,the third course of the Yuelu version of High School III,I elaborated on the author's attempt to cultivate the concept of time and space in high school students.
