The spring breeze of the New Curriculum Reform blow all over the country,which has been considered as a great idea.So a variety of schools famous for the New Curriculum Reform and various modes of reforms have come into being,such as:"Dulangkou mode","flip classroom mode" etc.No matter how the modes change,there is still one goal,namely promote quality education vigorously,improve students'awareness of inquiry and discipline and give back the class to students so that they can study happily according to their own hobbies,ability expertise,knowledge reserve.Chemistry,as an experiment-based central discipline,has irreplaceable significance in the fields of production,life,science and technology,environment and military affairs.The ninth graders who first get known of chemistry are curious about the unknown subject.Based on that point,stimulating students' interest should be regarded as the focus of teaching.Students should be motivated due to their internal motivation,and study with the interest of subject for follow-up chemical learning.The author has four years experience on chemistry teaching in junior high school.According to the observation in the period of chemistry teaching and compared with other subjects,chemistry involves a large number of experiments.At the beginning of the teaching,students will have a strong interest in chemistry,because of the interesting experimental phenomenon.But with the increase of theoretical knowledge and the difficulty of teaching materials,students' interest in learning chemistry is getting weaker and weaker,especially the ninth grader in the next semester.According to the requirements of quality education and the needs of students' development,this paper is mainly based on the investigation of learning interest of Ninth grade,and it digs into the methods that can cultivate their learning interest.The main goal is to help the students learn chemistry well and happily with bigger interest and improve their marks at the same time.In this thesis,questionnaires are distributed to the Ninth grade students,few chemistry teachers and some high school students who have graduated from our school at Hui Middle School in Guyuan,Ningxia.In next section,methods to cultivate chemistry learning interest are discussed from six parts.Part one introduces the background,the aim,methods and the significance of the present study.The aim of this part is to accumulate material for the research.Part two is the concept of learning interest,the literature review about previous researches aboard and at home,and states the theoretical foundation on learning interest.All of them will establish the theoretical foundation for the study.Part three is an empirical experiment to understand the factors that affect the chemistry learning of the ninth grade students,including research question,and interview.Part four is to design some methods to cultivate the students' chemistry learning interest so that the ways can be practiced in our school.Part five is conclusion and discusses.These methods are drawn from both theoretical and experimental foundations and hopefully it can provide material and resource for chemistry teachers in middle schools.Research conclusions are as follows:1.Learning interest belong to the category of psychology,students' gender,teachers'personality and teaching methods,students' learning attitude and habit,evaluation method,difficulty of teaching materials and other factors will affect the students' interest in chemistry learning.2.In the education teaching activities,should be based on students' cognitive level,combined with chemical experiment,decrease the difficulty of the teaching material life topic through diverse teachers guide,diversified evaluation,stimulate students interest.This study combined with the background of new curriculum reform fully,a systematic investigation and study of the factors that influence the ninth grade students chemistry learning interest and to explore the cultivation of the ninth grade students chemistry learning interest method,on the teaching of junior middle school chemistry teachers' education development has certain reference value.
