The related researches at home and abroad have shown,as the practitioners of helping profession in modern society,teachers are at a high risk of occupational burnout.The teachers in the secondary vocational schools are a special group among the educators and they bear the responsibilities of cultivating the primary and intermediate technical personnel for the society,so they play an important role in achieving the development and plan of “Made in China 2025”.However,some studies in recent years indicate that occupational burnout universally exists among the teachers in the secondary vocational schools,which reflects that the teachers are lack of working motivation and lose passion for work.This phenomenon will seriously influence the teachers' professional development,have a bad impact on the overall development of the students' body and mind and hinder the development of China's vocational education.Therefore,helping the teachers in the secondary vocational schools prevent occupational burnout is of great significance to promote the healthy development of the secondary vocational schools and scientifically build a teachers' team for China's vocational education.Based on the existing theories on teachers' occupational burnout at home and abroad,this thesis adopts several research methods,including questionnaire method,interview method,etc.,to conduct a questionnaire survey on 144 teachers from the T secondary vocational school,and the survey results using SPSS software data processing and analysis;the representative teachers on the job burnout of interviews,to understand the characteristics and causes of secondary vocational school teachers burnout.The questionnaires showed that teachers in T secondary vocational school all have job burnout in different degrees.Physical and mental exhaustion and lacking of accomplishment are more serious than depersonalization.According to the results ofinterviews,the author concluded the reason of teachers' job burnout in four aspects,society,schools,students and teachers themselves.The author also gave some suggestions to prevent and solve the problem like improving the social status,working atmosphere,the ability of teacher's self-adjustment,establishing reasonable career expectations and so on.
