Nowadays, Secondary vocational education strives to develop under the support ofour nation. In order to let our secondary vocational education has a qualitative leap, andthe cumulative qualities of our students improve, teachers are the critical factor, to bemore specific: teachers in charge of a class. The cumulative qualities of the students insecondary vocational schools are relatively low in general, and their educational levelswhen admitted are uneven. Moreover, the students in this age period are having theirphilosophy of life and the world rapidly developed, therefore, more easily beingaffected by other temptations. Especially the secondary vocational schools that arelocated in sub-urban areas, the environment of those areas are generally complicated,the quality of students is poor, and they usually have inappropriate behaviors. All thesefactors bring numerous pressure and hardship to the schools and the teachers, causingjob burnout among them. As such, the subject of research and solve the job burnoutphenomenon among the teachers in secondary vocational schools become criticallyimportant.This article adopts the means of combining theoretical research and practicalresearch, uses Sichuan Mechanical Technological School as an individual case todiscuss the job burnout problem among the teachers. Specifically, first, this articleanalyzes the characteristic of the job burnout phenomenon and its negative influences inthe sub-urban areas. Secondly, the article analyzes the causes of the job burnoutphenomenon in the sub-urban areas based on regional cause, social cause, studentscause, and individual teacher, etc. Last but not the least, this article discusses thesolution to the job burnout problem from the government’s perspective, schools’perspective, and the teachers’ perspective etc.
