In recent years,the citizens' information literacy has become increasingly demanding as the rapid development of China's educational informatization.And the cultivation of innovative talents has become an important goal of education in China.However,the information technology curriculum focusing on the cultivation of information literacy still has certain limitations.Therefore,the reform of information technology courses has become a focus of attention in the current information technology curriculum research.Flipping classroom worked as a new teaching model has attracted the attention of the academic community.However,with the further development of teaching practice,people find that the practice effect of flipping classroom couldn't work as well as its ideal states.STEM education,as a teaching method which aimed at cultivating innovative talents,has broadened the space for teaching reforms in China.This study integrates the STEM education concept into the flipping classroom teaching model,and constructs a new flipping classroom teaching model based on the STEM education concept.Furthermore,it applies the teaching model to the junior high school information technology curriculum for effective validation so as to change the limitations in the information technology curriculum and the inadequacies of the flipping classroom teaching model in teaching practice.In this way can we find ways to improve students' information literacy and promoting the development of China's education informatization.The main research work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,we need to combine the current teaching situation of information technology courses with the practical cases of flipping classroom teaching models in our country.And then we analyzed and summarized the limitations of current information technology courses in China and the problems existing in flipping classroom teaching models.Secondly,we need to summarize and sort out theoretical and practical research results related to classroom and STEM education,and understand the development of related research at home and abroad.Then we combined the limitations of current information technology courses in China and the problems existing in flipping classroom teaching models,and try to analyze the feasibility of integrating STEM education concepts into flipping classroom teaching model.Thirdly,by integrating the STEM education concept into the feasibility analysis of the flipping classroom teaching model and combining the core features of the STEM education,we have rebuilt the flipping classroom teaching model based on the basis of the typical flipping classroom teaching model.Last bust not least,the flip teaching model based on the STEM education concept is practically applied to junior high school information technology courses.Through comparison experiment with the traditional flip classroom teaching model,it is found that the flipping classroom teaching model based on the STEM education concept can more effectively improve the students' independent learning ability,cooperative learning ability and information literacy level provide guidance and reference for our teachers to implement flipping classroom.
