With the advancement of education informationization, people’s life, learning and thinking model has changed, flipped classroom as a special type of blended learning model has been widely concerned by scholars in education circles. Quality of learning resources is the key to the implementation of the flipped classroom, Micro video resources are short and have visual images, which can make students better digest and absorb of knowledge. Information technology is a course that focuses on practical operation, how to improve the low efficiency of information technology and the low value degree of students are the issues of information technology teachers should pay attention to. As one of the information technology teachers, it is our main task to explore the teaching model which is suitable for the information technology subject, and to improve the efficiency and quality of teaching.The article based on the investigation of the present situation of information technology learning in junior middle schools, and discovered the questions which exists, and analyzed the feasibility of the flipped classroom and micro video both applied to the information technology, based on that, the Robert Talbert flipped classroom teaching model was improved, micro videos were introduced into the classroom teaching, and designed the flipped classroom teaching model based on the micro video which was applied in the specific teaching cases. For the actual situation of information technology courses to students in front of the class about autonomous learning is difficult to achieve, the author put the students’ autonomous learning in the classroom teaching, which reduced the students additional learning time, and ensured the teachers effectively monitor the situation of students’ autonomous learning, and according to different levels of students to design the corresponding practices and expand the basis of practices. The study verifies the flipped classroom teaching model is helpful to improve the quality of junior middle school information technology teaching quality, and provide suggestions for the teacher to implement the flipped classroom teaching model.
