Intergenerational Education:Study On The Intergenerational Relationship Of Urban Family

China is one of a few countries in the world where widely exists the intergenerational education system.With the development of society,more and more intergenerational education phenomena have appeared in cities.Because education concept,cultural level,emotion and energy limited,unavoidably cause some problems and defects,and social education needs attention and consideration.The research object of this paper is 10 typical urban intergenerational education families.Through semi-structured interviews and non-participatory observations,We learned that in the intergenerational education family in the city,there are four characteristics of the performance of intergenerational relations.They're family structure based on a nuclear family,democratic and equal parent-child relationship,the focus of intergenerational relations shifts downward and the intergenerational education has increased.It affects the parents to choose places of residence when they're retired.It also encouraged the children to pursue the realization of self-worth or make "NEET" Phenomena more and more popular.Intergenerational support interactions include both economic support and non-economic support,but mostly,parents pay more.In the interview,the author found that in Intergenerational education families,the prerequisite for intergenerational conflict is about long absence of father's role in childcare and role conflict and balance in mother's work and family.In the big family,which party's parents came to help take care of the grandchildren?Or in family which with many children,which one can be helped to?There is also contention for resources.Intergenerational conflicts are mainly manifested in three aspects:living habits,educational concepts,fertility concepts,and gender preferences.The main method of conflict resolution is effective communication and euphemistic expression.Patience cannot be completely resolved.Finally,it is a special case under the current birth control policy.It is worth our deep analysis and reflection in the economic,cultural,medical,and ethical aspects.
