Demonstration teaching is an important part of art classroom teaching,cultivating students' innovative consciousness is paid much attention nowadays.However,some people think that demonstration teaching will impede students' thinking and limit their development,which will result that students can easily imitate the demonstration.As a consequence,there exists the phenomenon of “Teaching without painting”.However,for the professional Chinese painting teaching,some professional language is difficult to express,for example,"technique of painting ","Ink technique" and so on,students are very difficult to understand.As a kind of intuitive teaching method,demonstration teaching has the characteristics of authenticity,touchability and visuality.The use of demonstration teaching method in the art classroom of junior high schools can make students understand the process of art production at a glance and achieve a multiplier effect.Teaching is impossible,teaching indefinite law.There is no best teaching,only better.The application of the demonstration teaching methods of Chinese painting should be scientific,rational,and timely,in order to obtain the most effective teaching effect.What is the effective teaching of Chinese painting demonstration? This paper argues that throughout the whole process of teaching Chinese painting demonstrations,teachers are merely guides and inspirations,they should create a happy learning atmosphere for students because students are the main body of the classroom,infer other things from one fact,grasp a typical example and then grasp the whole category,in order to cultivate students the ability of solve problem from “incapable” to “capable”,“migration and transformation” and then to “creative”.Finally achieve the purpose of promoting students to integrate and coordinate sustainable development and progress in knowledge and skills,process and methods,emotional attitude and values,so as to achieve the desired teaching goals and meet the educational values of society and individuals.This paper systematically introduces the outline of the effectiveness of Chinesepainting demonstration teaching and discusses the effective form of Chinese painting demonstration teaching combined with the author's teaching practice.The effectiveness of the demonstration teaching of Chinese painting was analyzed through examples,student classroom work,questionnaire surveys,interview content analysis,and other aspects.The basic idea of the effectiveness of Chinese painting demonstration teaching and effective teaching strategies of Chinese painting demonstration teaching were concluded.First,rational design demonstration teaching content should be constructed.Second,the right timing in the demonstration process must be grasped.Third,effective use of evaluation systems should be established.Finally,this paper summarizes the research above,and prospects the outlook of the research on the effectiveness of demonstration teaching of Chinese painting in junior high school art classes.
