With the continuous deepening of the research on the competence of teachers and primary and middle school teachers in colleges and universities,the research on the competence of preschool teachers has gradually been put on the schedule.Some researchers have explored and studied the competency of preschool teachers,but the research on the competency of teachers in private preschools is relatively rare.Private preschool teachers as well as the public preschool teachers plays an important role in children's education career,which affects the physical and mental development of young children,especially in the period of rapid development of preschool education,and the level of competence of the teachers in private preschools is also related to the quality and level of education.Therefore,it is very important to study the competence of teachers in private preschools.This research mainly adopts the literature method,questionnaire survey method and behavioral event interview method to construct the competency model of preschool teachers.This model is mainly composed of professional knowledge,professional ability,professional attitude and personal qualities of four dimensions,preschool education,child care knowledge,general knowledge,teaching ability,organization and management ability,strain ability,innovation ability,professional ethics,self-efficacy,self-reflection,responsibility,interpersonal communication,self-regulation of 13 competence characteristics.According to the model self-compiled questionnaire,the investigation and analysis is carried out on the 12 private kindergarten of the qingshan lake district,Nanchang city,to understand the private kindergarten teachers' competence status in Nanchang qingshan lake district,and then analyze the possible influencing factors,and put forward rational suggestions.Based on the analysis of the survey results,the following conclusions are drawn:Firstly,private preschool teacher competency overall level is better but there are weak links.According to the survey results,the overall level of competency is 4.2411,indicating that the overall level of competence is better.Among them,the professional knowledge is 4.0752,the score is lower,and lower than the other three dimensions,indicating that the private preschool teachers are relatively weak in professionalknowledge.Secondly,there are differences in the competency level of private preschool teachers in different majors.From the survey results,the gender has no significant influence on the overall competence,the age,the working years,educational background and preschool level have positive-correlation influence on the overall level of competency and all dimensions.Thirdly,pre-service training,post-service training,preschool environment,preschool teachers have significant influence on the competency of private kindergarten teachers.In conclusion,the following Suggestions:Firstly,strengthen the construction of the preschool environment,improve the living situation of preschool teachers.Secondly,strengthen pre-service training and post-service training,and build the post-service integration mode.Thirdly,attaches great importance to the development of preschool teachers' weak programs and promotes the professional development of teachers.
