With the severe situation of aging,the pressure on old-age care in China has increased significantly,and the demand for professional services for the elderly has become increasingly prominent.As the direct providers of old-age care services,the elderly care workers influence their service quality and sustainable development in the pension industry.In recent years,the state has formulated a series of social policies for old-age care services,and vocational colleges across the country have also started to provide services for the elderly.However,many problems have begun to appear in practical teaching practice.On the one hand,the gap in talents has prompted China's higher vocational colleges to set up post-secondary care professions in succession,but the enrollment situation is not optimistic.Some schools have even been reported that the number of students enrolled is in single digits.On the other hand,the newly established professional training is at the stage of exploration,the orientation of professional teaching is not clear,the professional cognition of students is not clear,and the feeling of being unable to engage in nursing care after graduation due to lack of ability is not satisfactory.In order to enable these students who are about to embark on nursing care,they will be better able to adapt to the increasingly diversified and sophisticated needs of elderly care services,so that older people will have a sense of gain,caregivers will have a sense of worth,and the people will have a sense of well-being.It is very important and necessary to form an atmosphere of love for the elderly,respect for the elderly,and care for the elderly,and improve the professional capabilities of the professional services for nursing students in vocational schools.This article is based on the perspective of social work and takes the students of 2016 senior nursing students in M school in Jiangxi Province as the research object.It adopts the questionnaire survey and interview method to pass the care to the school teacher,the person in charge of the professional employer and the graduates on nursing care.The views of professional competence are investigated and analyzed.The study found that the concept of students' professional awareness is weak,and the understanding of the elderly and future careers is not comprehensive;professional theoretical knowledge is not solid and lacks effective communication skills;professional practice skills are low,especially in technical nursing and psychological care.The causes of these problems are mainly the students themselves are younger age,the social role is not clear;the school teaching and student management operating mechanism is general,the training syllabus is not updated promptly;the social recognition is low,and the occupation qualification certification is in the form.The study divides students into experimental and control groups through experimental methods.In response to the problems of students' professional abilities,the experimental group was trained for two months of social work professional training.After two sets of cumulative scores in each dimension and the average value of each topic,the average score of the professional awareness dimension in the experimental group increased by 6.5 points,the overall qualification rate increased by 26.1%,and the average score of professional theoretical dimensions increased by 5 points.The average score of the professional consciousness dimension of the experimental group increased by 6.5 points,the overall qualification rate increased by 26.1%,the average score of the professional theoretical dimension increased by 5 points,the overall qualification rate increased by 30.4%,the average score of the professional skills increased by 5.4 points,and the overall qualification rate Increased by 43.5%.The students in the experimental group have a significant improvement in their ability to provide nursing care,especially in the five aspects of nursing philosophy,observation and evaluation,activity design,and communication and coordination skills.
