For the sake of promoting further development of education informatization advancement and enlarging the building and sharing of high-quality educational resources, the application of E-learning space in our country is being popularized, which brings infinite possibilities for changing the way of learning. Collaborative knowledge building is one of the considerable contents of the E-learning research currently. Therefore, to study the effect of collaborative knowledge building on the E-learning space can both reflect individual development and concern the development of cooperative community, which accord with the educational development direction and aspiration needs in now days.As to research on domestic and foreign literatures, a fact has been found that by far the evaluation of the effect of collaborative knowledge building does not have a uniform standard. The existing knowledge building evaluation system is mainly divided into two forms: one evaluation method focuses on the quantification in the process of knowledge building, which is to statistic code and analysis the behavior of the learners as the process of the building. The other evaluation mode concerns on the quality of principles of knowledge building. On the foundation of the existing knowledge building evaluation system, combing with the principle and process of knowledge building, this study established a qualitative and quantitative evaluation dimension of knowledge building effect. Based on this evaluation system, we analyzed and evaluated the collaborative knowledge building effects of the learners from E-learning space.This research is based on the course Instructional System Design of undergraduate student teaching, by the way of E-learning space, collected session data in the process of collaborative knowledge building and used descriptive analysis, dialogue analysis and social network analysis to demonstrate the effect of learners' knowledge building in a certain university. It has been obtained by analysis that the effect of the learner's collaborative knowledge building in the E-learning space is ideal, which is mainly manifested in the following:Firstly, learners ask questions and express their views actively to promote collaborative knowledge building in the E-learning space.Secondly, learners are able to actively assume collective responsibility in the E-learning space which boost collaborative knowledge building.Thirdly, learners in the E-learning space can be equal and democratic participation in collaborative knowledge buildingFourthly, learners can share resources better in the E-learning space and achieve collaborative knowledge building.
