Young Pioneer Counselors are an important force of teachers in China,and also a team with professional characteristics.They are indispensable to the education of young pioneers.In primary and middle schools of our country,the Counselor of the Young Pioneer Squadron is also a head teacher or a subject teacher,and in fact,the head teacher also serves as a Squadron Counselor.At present,in the research field of Young Pioneers,Young Pioneer Counselor is a hot topic.Under the background of full participation,China now has about 130 million young pioneers.Today,Young Pioneers are the basic force for the Party and youth league organizations and the reserve force for the future development of the motherland.The Counselors of the Young Pioneers have the important responsibility to train the socialist builders and successors,especially to the Squadron Counselors who are most closely connected with the Young Pioneers.Young Pioneer Squadron work has a stronger professional,in fact,professional Young Pioneer Squadron Counselors should be required.Although the primary school head teacher concurrently serves as a Squadron Counselor,it has certain advantages in education and management,but inevitably there will be some problems.It is necessary for academia to pay attention to and study this basic and special Squadron Counselor team.In this study,the logic of the text of the subject is to analyze the background of the primary school head teacher concurrently serving as a Squadron Counselor,which includes three parts:first,to introduce the overall situation of our primary school head teacher concurrently serves as a Squadron Counselor;second,to combine with the historical background analysis,the reason why the primary school head teacher also serves as the Squadron Counselor;third,in the period of social transformation,to analyze the new situation faced by the primary school head teacher and the Squadron Counselor.These are the logical premises of this paper.Then,a primary school in Guizhou Province is chosen as the object of study.All of the Squadron counselors in this school serve concurrently by head teachers,which meet the needs of this research.Based on the paradigm of qualitative research,in the course of the investigation,the author uses the interview method to understand the current situation of the work of the six head teacher in charge of the Squadron.In order to reflect the current situation of the work of the instructor in charge of the class,this paper further interviewed the vice-principal of the school,a group of Counsellors and some of the Young Pioneers.The research finds that the problems existing in the work of primary school head teachers and squadron counselors are as follows:the role of the primary school head teacher and the Squadron Counselor is unbalanced;the primary school head teacher also serves as the Squadron Counselor’s professional accomplishment is lacking;The external support system of primary school head teacher and Squadron Counselor is weak.In addition,this paper makes an attribution analysis of the existing problems,which can be summarized as follows:the primary school head teachers’ cognition of the role of Squadron Counselors is marginalized;the conditions for improving the Professional Literacy of the head teacher and the Squadron Counsellor are not ripe;the social support system lacks substantial support for the work of the Young Pioneers in schools;it is difficult to break through the barriers of examination-oriented education.Finally,this paper puts forward two optimization strategies,namely,the improvement strategy and the reformative strategy,for the work of the head teacher and the Squadron Counselor in the primary school.According to the existing practice,this paper puts forward the countermeasures of improvement,including the following:examine oneself,strengthen the class teacher to the Squadron Counselor’s role cognition;improve the accomplishment,perfect the class teacher also serves as the Squadron Counselor professional study condition;work together to educate the person,tamp the class teacher also serves as the squadron counselor work support system;strengthen the value of Young Pioneer’s Education by establishing morality and strengthening the Education value of Young Pioneers.Besides from the perspective of professional development,this paper puts forward the reform countermeasures,puts forward the idea of setting up a full-time Squadron Counselor,with a view to achieving a dedicated post for the Commissioner,including the necessity,feasibility and significance of setting up a full-time Squadron Counselor.As well as the establishment of full-time Squadron Counselors should grasp the key four parts.
