Research On The Problem Of Community Correction In Quanzhou

With the development of society,the effect of controlling criminals solely by combating crime and severe imprisonment is getting worse and worse.The rate of recidivism and the cost of imprisonment of released prisoners remain high.A new way of reforming criminals,community correction,emerges as the times require.This paper is based on Quanzhou,focusing on investigating the development of community correction work in Quanzhou,and discussing the improvement of community correction work in Quanzhou.Through the research,we find that there are still some problems in the community correction work in Quanzhou,such as backward team building,insufficient funds,lack of trust,lack of management of special objects and so on.The reasons are that the main body of community correction is not professional enough,the funding system is not perfect,and the supervision is not enough.Therefore,based on the advanced experience of community correction at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the work of community correction in Quanzhou,including optimizing the team construction of community correction staff in Quanzhou,strengthening the guarantee of funds for community correction work in Quanzhou,and strengthening the responsibility of procuratorial organs to participate in community correction work.We should appropriately adjust the object of community correction and strengthen the mode of information supervision.
