Application Of Case Management In Drug Abuse Community Detoxification Process

The problem of drug abuse has now become a worldwide problem.In the face of the complicated and serious drug situation,governments are also actively working to improve the drug situation in their country.In our country,in addition to severely cracking down on various criminal activities such as drug production and drug trafficking,the government has also taken various measures to help drug users achieve drug rehabilitation.At present,in addition to compulsory isolation and detoxification,the community-based community drug rehabilitation model is also being used more and more.As a first-tier city in China,Guangzhou has always been at the forefront of drug rehabilitation.After years of development,the Guangzhou area has also explored some better working methods and methods in the community rehabilitation work,such as the “social worker + volunteer” model and the “community + civilian police + social worker” escort rehabilitation model.These models have a good effect on the physiological detoxification itself,but the effect on the psychological detoxification and social integration of drug users is not obvious.As a social work method,case management mainly provides services for clients who have multiple needs but cannot effectively use social resources.The use of case management for community drug rehabilitation can not only help the physical detoxification of community drug abusers.It can also provide more services in terms of psychological detoxification and social integration.Through the literature research method,the author finds that the theoretical research and practical application of the method of case management in community detoxification are relatively few.Therefore,the author applied the method of case management to the case service of community drug rehabilitation in the internship process.The client provides assistance and services in the areas of physical detoxification,psychological stress adjustment,employment,family relationship building and community integration.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on his own research,hoping to provide some reference for the research and practice of community drug rehabilitation work.
