Research On Social Work Intervention Of Migrants’ Detoxification

In the anti-drug work of the first-tier and second-tier cities in China,the problem that drug detoxification and rehabilitation difficult in different communities for migrant drug addicts is widespread,and it is urgent to innovate the social management mode of anti-relapse for the migrant drug addicts.Z City as a second-tier city,there is a relative large group of migrant drug addicts,and the migrant drug addicts detoxification work mode here has a very good referential significance.Firstly,the author visited the anti-drug social work institution and the Anti-drug Department of Public Security in Z City to understand the new ideas of social control for the detoxification and rehabilitation for the drug addicts in different communities.Subsequently,field visits were carried out in the Compulsory Isolated Detoxification Center in Z City,and questionnaires were conducted for migrant drug addicts in the center.Finally,through case intervention to help the migrants detoxification.This study attempted to take the migrant drug addicts as the main research object,objectively analyze the behaviors and motivations of the drug addicts,by using research methods like documents,questionnaires survey,in-depth interviews,and observation methods etc.At the meantime,the label theory and cognitive behavior theory were used to carry out the case intervention in the community drug detoxification and rehabilitation for the addicts,and the feasibility and efficiency of the case intervention were analyzed.By this research,we found out that the predicament of drug detoxification and rehabilitation in different communities for migrant drug addicts,and proposed to improve the top-level design of social work intervention on the migrant drug addicts,strengthen the system guarantee,fund guarantee,talent guarantee,and build a stable and efficient operation mechanism of social workers’ intervention in the drug rehabilitation for the migrant drug addicts.It is hoped that through this study,the society and the government will pay attention to the group of migrant drug addicts,in order to solve the migrants detoxification issue in system and mechanism,and provide innovative strategic ideas and suggestions for the overall anti-drug social governance.
