In order to improve the quality of writing Korean and Chinese textbooks, this article uses data statistics and quantitative analysis methods to compare and analyze for the layout design, pronunciation, text and exercise of Boya Chinese(Elementary Beginners Ⅰ and Ⅱ)and Master Chinese(Volumes 1 and 2).On this basis, the advantages and disadvantages of the two sets of textbooks are analyzed based on the survey results of Korean learners’ use of Chinese textbooks and their preferences. The main research results of this article are as follows:Firstly, the two textbooks arrange a long time for phonetic learning, which cover the entire primary learning process. However,Boya Chinese covers fewer phonetic items, and the explanation of phonetic content is too simple, which does not meet the demand of Korean learners.Secondly, the texts of Boya Chinese are rich in types, but the texts in Volume Ⅱ are more difficult and are not suitable for beginner. The texts of Master Chinese are moderately difficult, but only texts in of a single type as dialogue. In terms of topics,Master Chinese has a higher degree of matching with topics preferred by Korean junior learners;Maste Chinese has a higher degree of matching with topics preferred by Korean adult students than Boya Chinese.Thirdly, according to the ranks of junior learner’s preference, the 8 main topics are ranked in order: emotion> daily life> interpersonal communication> personal information> politics and economy> nature and science> culture> literary stories.
