Classical poetry is one of China's outstanding literary heritages,and it is also a bright pearl in the treasure house of world literature.On the stage of The international Chinese language education,it is our duty to spread and carry forward the spirit and culture carried by classical poetry.However,the language of classical poetry is difficult to understand,its content is complex,and its teaching method is single.Especially for international students coming to China,how can they carry out the systematic and efficient learning in a limited time? the paper applies the schema theory to the teaching practice of the classical poetry in international Chinese,and plays the role of schema framework construction and develop thinking ability,in order to focus on training students' ability to understand and appreciate classical poetry,expanding their thinking space.The existing research on schema theory is mainly focus on Chinese native language reading,and there is less research focused on classical poetry teaching in the international Chinese education.The paper takes Dungan foreign students from the Northwest Normal University as an example.From the aspects of theory introduction and theory implementation,actively explores the necessity of schema theory in the teaching of Chinese classical poetry in the international Chinese education.Seizing the characteristics of classical poetry,various schemes of classical poetry were constructed.Schema is beneficial for students to form a good cognitive structure,it can help students develop systematic knowledge of classical poetry,and apply schema theory to classical poetry teaching in Chinese international education,which is conducive to the further development and inheritance of Chinese classical poetry.The paper is divided into three parts:Part one is the introduction part,mainly including the reason of research,the stage of research and the theoretical basis and research methods of the paper.part two is the main body of this paper,with five chapters following : The first Chapter generally introduces the schema theory,With its definition,its characteristics,functions and information processing methods are explained;The second Chapter analyzes the feasibility of applying schema theory to the classical poetry teaching,It mainly elaborates on the consistency between the schema theory and the principles of classical poetry teaching,and the significance of schema theory in classical poetry teaching;The third chapter mainly describes Which schemas can be constructed in classical poetry,The paper mainly gives examples of schema construction in twoaspects: the performance techniques and content of classical poetry,Describes how schemas help students improve their ability and efficiency in learning the classical poetry;The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the current situation about the classical poetry teaching for Dungan foreign students from Northwest Normal University,By doing questionnaires and analyzing the poetry book they use,try to found out the current situation of the use of schema theory in the classroom of Dungan foreign students,the potential and the space of the Schema theory can be used in the classrooms of Dungan foreign students,and put forward some teaching methods to use schema for them;The fifth chapter is instructional design,Through the interaction with students in the classroom,inadequate reflection,checking for missing and filling in gaps,I designed the teaching of two poems with different themes,"thoughts on a quiet night " and " Farewell to YuanEr as a Envoy for His mission to Anxi " and explored some other strategies for the classical poetry teaching.The last part of the paper is the summary part,which summarizes the whole point of view and what efforts we need to make in the future in order to turn the theory into reality.
