Study On The Contribution Of Overseas Chinese In Southeast Asia To China's Anti-Japanese War

For the first time since modern times,the Second Sino-Japanese War has won a complete victory over foreign invaders,the greatest war of independence of the Chinese nation.Under the banner of the Anti-japanese National United Front advocated by the Communist Party of China,and on the basis of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,all classes,all ethnic groups,compatriots from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,and overseas Chinese made joint efforts to win the War of resistance.The more than 8 million overseas Chinese living in Southeast Asia at that time were also an important force in this war.They united under the banner of "resisting Japan and saving the nation," had the money to pay for it,had the strength to contribute,lost money to help pay for it,and shared a common hatred with the people of the motherland,and shared weal and woe,to defend against foreign insults.The Overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia played an important role in the liberation of the Chinese nation and the victory of the Chinese People's Revolution during the anti-japanese war.History has proved that the unprecedented enthusiasm of the overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia in supporting the motherland in the War of resistance is not only a glorious chapter in the history of China,but also a great spiritual force that will forever inspire the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation to love and serve the motherland.During the period of the Second Sino-Japanese War,the great contribution of overseas Chinese to the support of the motherland has been studied systematically in the academic circles.However,in the history of modern research in China,the research on the support of overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia and the motherland during the War of resistance against Japanese aggression is not very mature,few scholars have paid much attention to the status and role of the overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia in the anti-japanese war.Therefore,in commemoration of the 70 th anniversary of the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China,a more complete and systematic exposition of the Southeast Asian Overseas Chinese contribution to the motherland's War of resistance against Japanese Aggression has very important theoretical and practical significance.In terms of the structure of the thesis,this paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter One discusses the research background,purpose and significance of Southeast Asian overseas Chinese supporting the Anti-japanese War,and probes into the current research situation at home and abroad,the research emphasis,difficulties andinnovation points,the basic train of thought and research method are made clear.The second chapter is the theory part.On the basis of a clear understanding of the relevant concepts,this paper sorts out the basic situation of the Overseas Chinese emigrants in Southeast Asia and the changes of the Overseas Chinese society in Southeast Asia during the anti-japanese war,thus providing the theoretical background for the study of the Overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia supporting the Anti-japanese war.Chapter three mainly studies the reasons why the overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia supported the motherland in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,this paper analyzes the policies of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party on overseas Chinese affairs,the formation of the Anti-japanese National United Front,as well as the tradition of Southeast Asian overseas Chinese loving their country and hometown,the establishment of overseas Chinese organizations,the leadership of patriotic overseas Chinese leaders and the awakening of their national consciousness,for the rest of the story.In the fourth chapter,the contribution of Southeast Asian Overseas Chinese to China's anti-japanese war is expounded from the aspects of economy,politics,manpower and culture.Chapter V,combined with the background of The Times,discusses the role and significance of Southeast Asian overseas Chinese in supporting the Anti-japanese War,highlighting the indispensable importance of Southeast Asian overseas Chinese in the anti-japanese war.Finally,it summarizes the inspiration of the spirit of southeast Asian overseas Chinese actively supporting the Anti-japanese war in the new era,and highlights the purpose of this study.In the future,we should carry forward the patriotic spirit of overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia and attach importance to the contemporary value of overseas Chinese.Although we have shaken off the poverty of lack of food and clothing,we will continue to carry forward the virtues of the hard work and struggle of the overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia and win a decisive victory in building the Xiaokang in all respects.To Guide young people to develop a correct ideal,set up lofty ideals and beliefs,Down to Earth,strive to be a good youth of the Times.
