For a long time,the study of "feminine image" has been the focus of attention of film and television criticism,especially in the 21 st century,the era of "her",which is a woman of great concern.The "female image" not only covers external images such as appearance and clothing,but also internal images such as thoughts and consciousness.Whether in movies,literary works or documentaries,we can always see ordinary but unique images of women.Compared with movies and literary works,the female images created by documentaries because of their authenticity can have a different impact on the audience.As a small branch of the documentary,female documentaries stand on the position of women,take care of women's destiny,pay attention to women's living conditions,interpret women's consciousness,shape many distinctive female images with different styles,break In the past,the modelled and stereotyped female images created in the previous documentary are independent,positive,and brave.These images also invisibly trigger people's overall thinking about women and their self-reflection.This article takes the female image in Chinese female documentaries as the research object,uses feminist film theory,gender theory,through literature analysis and case analysis,uses excellent female documentaries as the research text,and combines the graduation design "Two Of Me" "In accordance with a gradual research sequence of female documentaries,female image features in female documentaries,and female image construction strategies in female documentaries,the research object of the thesis is studied.At the beginning of the paper,in order to make the research content of this article more standardized,this study defined the concept of female documentaries by referring to relevant materials.A feminist documentary that pays attention to the state and emotions and can cause female introspection and reflection.It summarizes the development of female documentaries and believes that female documentaries have experienced the exploration period of the 1990 s and the innovation period of the 21 st century.At the same time,it summarizes the characteristics of female documentaries,and believes that female documentaries have the characteristics of paying attention to the living conditions of women at different levels,keen on the setting of diverse female issues,and focusing on the restoration of the inner world of women.After a certain basis of the female documentary,the main part of the thesis further analyzes the external characteristics and internal consciousness characteristics of the female image in the Chinese female documentary,and the external characteristics of the female image are respectively from The text analysis is carried out on the three aspects of female character characteristics,female character characteristics and female behavior characteristics;the internal consciousness characteristics of female images are analyzed from three aspects: the construction of female discourse power,the expression of female subjective consciousness,and the promotion of female gender awareness.Through analysis,we can find that female documentary creators are more inclined to construct individual and thoughtful female images,and these images are also the “impact” of the female stereotyped images in traditional cognition by the creators.Here,every woman has become a unique individual.In order to grasp the character image more clearly,the thesis then analyzes the creator's construction strategy from two aspects: audio-visual language and narrative technique.In terms of audiovisual language,this study found that female documentary creators' delicate creation methods make the use of documentary lenses to a certain degree of stylization,mainly through long shots,close-up shots,and empty shots to construct female images,so that the audience in the film and the film Women have “empathy”.At the same time,diversified sound elements are used to convey the emotions and thoughts of the characters.In terms of narrative techniques,female documentary creators often enrich the female images in contradictions,conflicts,object details and different narrative spaces in order to make the characters three-dimensional.At the end of the thesis,this study reflects on the problems existing in the construction of female images in Chinese women's documentaries,and puts forward two suggestions for the construction of female images in equal gender relations and the construction of bi-sex and same-sex female images,with a view to future China Female documentary creators can construct a richer and more diverse female image.
