In recent years, Korean dramas attract thousands of Chinese with its excellent details (beautiful scene, mature fairy tale plot, touched music, attractive casts, etc.), which guide the Asian market in this circle. Some of the dresses, modeling styles, traditional food etc. appear in dramas even affects younger’s life style, which lead to the development of economy in Korean.Korean dramas begin popular in the mid-1980s, rapidly developed in 1990s. By the 90s of the 20th century, it learned excellent shooting skills from Japan dramas, and this action helped Korea itself successfully launched series of drams such as "Sa Lang Yi Mwo", "Piao Len Nei Ka Si Mei", "Yuk Kyo Pung Un" etc.. As a result, these series made crazy fashionable ages in Korea. In the 21st century, China imported massive Korean dramas like "Yi Neo A Ga Xi", "Full House" and "Winter Sonata", such time of dramas were popular among the whole Asia when they presented in front of Chinese horizon.In general, there are three main categories in Korean dramas:Family Drama, Historical Play and Idol Drama. Female are the majority target audiences as Korean dramas promotion, and the establish images of women are deeply loved by these audiences. It is reported that more than 90% drama-writers are women. In Korea, there is a main thought called "Home-making women, Money-Making men", basic on it, most women do not go out for work after they married. These women have their unique female advantages, rich in emotion as well as delicate emotion and a plenty of free time, which help female-writers make use of these detail to create their ideals characters. So that, the female characters in Korean Dramas not only adapt female audiences’psychological and emotional experience, also meet male’s aesthetic standards.There are diversified female characters in dramas, seemingly complicated yet there are rules to follow:early female image could be roughly divided into 3 types: Kang Tei-Yeong’s "Cinderella" image represented by "Paris Ei Yeonin"; Mary Yin’s "Nonperson Daughter-in-Law" in "Yi Neo A Ga Xi", and Seo Jang-Geum’s "Ugly Duckling" in "Dae Jang Geum".Nowadays, with improvement of women’s status, as well as the transformation of ideas, the women images have changed. For example, "My Name is Kingm Sam-Sun " as a representive that believe the older female also could own their loves, they pursuit love, have strong heart as well as fearless "self-help" ability. Another case is the romantic drama "Full House", the heroine built a girl with willful and lovely character who catch audiences’ eyeballs. Then to the recent drama "You Who Came from the Star", heroine Cheon Song-Yi’s no afraid of difficulty characteristic is deeply arousing position to audiences.From female point of view, this article decides to " Cheon Song-Yi" this woman character, analysis its personality charm in terms of feature, reason for building, also its personality, compare it to traditional female ones, in order to research the change of feminism image in Korean dramas. The research time set here is 90s in 20th century, the research direction are seek for influences reasons for women image’s establishment in terms of times, features, women’s social status, self consciousness, value respectively, in order to find out this character’s forming reason.According to above ideas, the author divides five parts in this paper. In the first chapter, the author elaborate the topic background, research significance, the innovation points, goals and methods as well, then summarizes the academic research situation both in domestic and overseas. The second chapter, the author will focus on females’ audiences, to discuss how Korean drama focus on them, including the female adaptors, actresses and how soap opera take audiences’ fancy. The author based on the following factors:heroine characters’ occupation, social status, relationship with actors in the dramas, which affect women’s image construction, to analysis and summarize the differences and characters of traditional female image in Korean dramas, as well as the new female image in the third chapter. In fourth chapter, this article chooses Sao Eui-Hwa (traditional female images) and Cheon Song-Yi (new female images) from "You Who Came from the Star" which is popular in 2013, and also another ones in this opera which based on this classification regulation as case study for comparison study, one by one to analysis these personalities. Based on precious four chapters, the author analyses factors which affect female image transformation in terms of thoughts and environment, female occupation, and feminist consciousness in the fifth chapter. Also conclusion female Korean images building and changing between 1990 and 2013, also presents women’s status, self consciousness and ideas in the 1990s in the last chapter.In conclusion, the author will summarize both female image and process-building in Korean dramas during 20 years, and do a summary transformation factors from traditional female images to new female images. Also presents women’s status, development of self consciousness, ideas as well as change of social environment from 1990s till now.
