Causative pivotal sentences are one of the most commonly used concurrent sentences in daily life.They are also one of the special sentences that learners often make mistakes.They are also an important and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on error analysis theory,this paper studies the errors of imperatives and sentences of Chinese learners whose mother tongue is English.This topic comprehensively uses the methods of literature analysis,comparative analysis and error analysis to analyze the characteristics of causative pivotal sentences in terms of syntax,semantics and pragmatics.At the same time,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the Chinese expressions of causative meanings in English,and takes them as the theoretical basis for error analysis.On the basis of synthesizing predecessors’ academic views and combining with the characteristics of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the actual situation of incorrect corpus quantity,this paper establishes the imperative verbs represented by "make,order,call,make,demand,request,force,order and constrain",570 errors of native English speaking learners in HSK dynamic corpus were collected.This paper divides errors into five categories: omission,misrepresentation,misaddition,misorder and other errors,and explores the characteristics of errors made by native English learners in causative and concurrent sentences,which are mainly concentrated in two types of "omission" and "misrepresentation";mainly in C and B learners;mainly in causative verbs "causative" and "allowable".From the perspective of learners,this paper analyses the causes of errors,clarifies the factors that affect the effectiveness of teaching,including negative transfer of mother tongue,the difficulty of making imperative sentences and the mood of learners,and then puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions to improve the efficiency of teaching imperative sentences and sentences to English-speaking and Chinese-speaking learners. |
