Language attrition,also known as eclipse,refers to the decline of second language or foreign language ability and knowledge brought about by language learners after learning a second language or other foreign language for some reason.Weakened or even completely lost.Language attrition is a common linguistic phenomenon that has aroused the research boom of the academic world.So far,various hypotheses have been verified in various language learning,but the research on the learning of Chinese as a second language has just begun.Vocabulary attrition is the first level of attrition in language attrition.At the same time,a number of Chinese nouns are too many and the grammatical status is complicated.Based on this,this paper will examine the attrition of Chinese learners' common Chinese nouns.In-depth research in this field can provide more scientific theoretical guidance and practical operation for second language teaching.This article has been used to study Chinese in China,who have been returned to Thailand for more than 12 months.The Thai-speaking Chinese learners who have passed the HSK5 test before returning to China have been tested by the Chinese nouns.The research shows that after the Thai students leave the Chinese environment,the order of Chinese nouns is in accordance with the “regression hypothesis”.The first-class nouns are the most wear-resistant,the second-level nouns are the second,and the most prone to attrition is the C-level nouns;different Chinese The degree of attrition of Chinese nouns by Chinese learners at the level(in this paper,HSK Level 4,HSK Level 5,and HSK Level 6)is affected by the pre-abrasive Chinese level.This phenomenon is consistent with the “inversion hypothesis” and the “critical threshold hypothesis”.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the Chinese learning situation in the international context and reviews the current research on language attrition research and vocabulary attrition research at home and abroad,and clarifies thepurpose and significance of the research.The second part is the experimental design,which introduces the research questions,the research objects,the test content,the research methods and the research steps.The third part is the result analysis and discussion,which illustrates the collection of experimental data and the analysis of the data results.The fourth part is the research enlightenment.According to the results of this experiment,the causes of Chinese noun abrasion are analyzed,and the teaching strategy of Chinese as a foreign language is proposed from the perspective of second language attrition research.The fifth part is a summary.To summary the research,puts forward the innovation and the limitations of the research.
