According of the Tibetan and Chinese languages, they causeThai and Chinese are considered the same language group (the Sino—Tibetan language family) which can be explained by the certain similar characteristics of Thai and Chinese languages. In terms of the similarities, for example, the sentences’structure orderly exact by the subject,the predicate,and then the object of the predicate. Secondly, Both Thai and Chinese languages are undoutedly unchanged morphological of the language.Thirdly, the meaning of words can be changed by its intonation (words’tones). Finally, there are the form of the noun classifiers.On the other hands,both languages are quite different characteristics:the noun modifiers are not the same position in Thai and in Chinese sentences-the Chinese ones-noun modifiers are usually post in front of the nouns whereas they are normally post behind nouns in Thai ones. Secondly, the related words which are used to modify the noun modifiers in order to make sentences smoothly and elegantly are also different.Thirdly, the ordering of noun modifiers,which shown the sophisticated and higher level of sentence structure (from simple to complex sentences), were post diferrently in both language sentence structures.In brife, the research is comprised of six chapters. The first chaptenr:Introduction-concluding with the background and the significance of study, the aims of study, the research methodology and the related theories in details. The second chapters:the types and the function of words and phrases of nouns modifiers in both Thai and Chinese languages. The third chapter:the analysis chapter-focusing on nouns midifiers explained with related theories (Contrastive Linguistics, Inter language and Error Analysis) which were used to analize the noun modifiers’ position in Thai and Chinese sentences, the ordering of noun modifiers according of its sophisticated charactors (its ordering and function) which lead to analize the common errors found in both Thai and Chinese sentence structures. The forth chapter:the apropriately of using structural particle words in boths languages for making sentences smoothly and beautifully.The fifth chapter:the case study of the Thai students who were conducted by research methodology for gatering datum on the common errors of noun modifiers usages.The sixth chapters:according of the fifth chapter, in this chapter, the researcher privides related suggestion based on required and potential theries for further Thai and Chinese instructors who would like to make effective Chinese class instruction. However,for effectively research results, the gathered datum were collected with Thai students (the Chinese language Program of Thai undergraduate students, Rajabhat Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand). A survey method was used to figure out the impacts of Thai language, as a mother language, influence of Thai students’acquiring Chinese Grammar (Chinese as a second language).To summarize of this research, the researcher sums up the common problems and offer the required guidance of Chinese instructions based on the research finding,majority in the use of Chinese noun modifiers (the last chapter).Sincerely, the researcher hopes that this study will be useful for instructors to develop their Chinese language teaching ability.
