English course is one of the most important courses offered in primary school.Its fundamental purpose is to stimulate students' interest in learning English.Interest is one of the core issues of educational theory,and it is also an important topic to be studied in the current teaching reform.In many years of teaching practice,it has been found that students in the lower and middle grades are more interested in learning English,because the content of learning is relatively simple and easy to understand,but in the fifth and sixth grades,academic performance began to decline,the efficiency of classroom listening becomes lower,the reason is the increase in teaching content and learning difficulty.The purpose of this study is to be based on the results of the questionnaire survey on English learning interest and learning result of the students in senior grade of primary school,carrying out the practice research of the new curriculum model in the experimental class.To verify the correlation between learning interest and learning effect by the data analysis of experimental results,meanwhile,to sum up an effective classroom teaching method to improve the English learning interest of the students in senior grade of primary school,helping the teachers of primary school to correct the practical problems of lower English learning interest and poor learning effect of the students in senior grade of primary school at present.Solving the problems pertinently can naturally create a more efficient teaching model.The content of this paper mainly includes six aspects:first,put forward the content and method of this study and related significance;second,collate the theory and related concepts of this study;third,carry out the investigation and study of English learning interest and learning result of the students in senior grade of primary school;fourth,case study.This paper analyzes the guiding experience and Enlightenment of advanced teaching concepts;fifth,it carries out countermeasures to cultivate students' interest in English learning;sixth,it summarizes the research conclusions and carries out research prospects.Through the study of this paper,the following conclusions are reached.Firstly,the present situation of students' interest in English learning is not ideal,which is mainly manifested in the following aspects:boring teaching mode,lack of modern teaching technology and space;from the perspective of teachers' behavior,we must innovate teaching mode as soon as possible,stimulate students' interest in learning with vivid and interesting teaching mode;pupils' clear self The purpose of learning is to form learning motivation and then change bad learning habits.Secondly,summarize a variety of teaching methods,from the excellent experience:teachers must pay attention to stimulate interest in learning in the teaching process,the beginning of the class put forward a question of interest to students,in order to arouse students' desire for knowledge,and to improve students' interest in learning English.Teachers should absorb a variety of teaching modes,summarize the advantages and disadvantages of teaching modes,and make rational use of them in their own classroom;after class,the interest still exists,and effective teaching activities should be extended to after class.Thirdly,after the experimental study,the students' academic performance,oral performance and learning attitude have been significantly improved,which fully demonstrates that learning interest is directly related to learning result.Combining with the teaching strategy of the experimental class,the stimulation of the interest in English learning of the senior grade in primary school should be done as follows:teachers should study actively and explore the teaching of interest;make active use of the network to form innovative teaching;carry out cooperative learning to form independent learning;innovate learning methods to form after-class guidance;attach importance to the core quality and establish learning activities Machine.
