An Analysis Of The Acceptance Of Indonesian Collage Student's New HSK

The Chinese Proficiency Test is an international standardization test and is mainly aimed at the testing of non-native Chinese learners.The HSK has been implemented in Indonesia since 2001.The original test sites were located in Jakarta,Surabaya,Medan and Bandung.Nowadays,with the development of Chinese language teaching in Indonesia,Chinese learners have higher and higher requirements for taking the HSK.The number of test center has not only increased,but also the distribution area has become wider.Jakarta,one of the first test centers,has conducted a 17-years Chinese Proficiency Test.In order to understand the status quo of the exam and analyze its strengths and obstacles in its development,systemic reasearch is needed.This article investigates and analyze the current status of the HSK in three universities in Jakarta,Indonesia and uses questionnaries and interviews to understand the acceptance of Indonesian Collage students of the Jakarta HSK and the promotion of the test.Some in-depth study of Chinese language learners in the region was conducted.The use of communication with teachers and students was used to understand the learners knowledge of the HSK and to understand wether HSK met the goal of "promoting test and promoting learning through examination".The survey found that Jakarta,as the main area for HSK development,still has many problems in the implementation of the promotion of the Chinese Proficiency Test.It mainly involves issues concerning the organization of HSK,schools,and Chinese learners.Solving these problems will expand the coverage of sub-test center of the HSK and the publicity of the test,strengthen the support of the school for this test and the motivation of the students to participate in the HSK test.
