Native Chinese teachers are an important part of Chinese language education in Indonesia.With the trend and development of Chinese language education in Indonesia,native Chinese language teachers have also undergone many important changes.It is important to understand the development and existing problems of Chinese language teachers in Indonesia,and to solve these problems in order to improve the quality of Chinese language teaching,which is also one of the important aims of the Chinese education community.In this article,the present situation of Chinese language teachers in Jakarta is selected in the investigation,It investigates and analyzes the basic items of the local Chinese language teachers in three parts,including personal information,the teaching of Chinese language,and the participation in training.It reveals the problems and reasons of local Chinese teachers in teaching activities,moreover it puts forward feasible suggestions on these issues.Meanwhile,it hopes to provide believable data basis for the development of native Chinese language teachers in the future.Through the investigation of local Chinese language teachers,it found that Jakarta local Chinese teachers have the following problems:the gender structure of Chinese teachers in Jakarta is imbalanced,the number of female teachers is more than male one;the professionalism and specialization of teachers are comparatively low,and even most teachers are engaged in making a living by doing two or more job about teaching;teaching quality of teachers is not high,even some are lack of teacher qualification certificate and necessary teaching skills;teachers mainly uses Indonesian language as teaching language in classroom;teaching content is more casual and teaching skills are short.In addition,the Jakarta Chinese teacher training institutions are dispersed,which results in scattering teachers.The training form of each training organization is relatively single,and the training content is also lack of pertinence.In view of the above problems,our suggestions is as follows:improving the treatment of teachers,attracting more male Chinese teachers,setting up a reasonable salary system,strengthening the management of school teachers,enhancing the assessment standards for teachers,expanding the cooperative projects with Chinese colleges and universities,and building the language environment of the class language to improve the Chinese language environment;Strengthening the teaching and research management of the school and improve the teaching ability;unifying the Chinese language teacher training management system,establishing the Chinese education team;understanding the training needs of teachers,and choosing a appropriate training form.
