| Learning motivation is a key individual difference affecting the process and result of second language acquisition.It plays an important role in first language learning.On the basis of literature research,this paper uses the questionnaire survey method,taking the students of Chinese major of Prince of Songkla University in Thailand as the object,using SPSS analysis software to analyze the survey data,and summarize and analyze the characteristics and influencing factors of the type of Chinese learning motivation in Thailand Chinese majors.The author first explains in detail the meaning and function of learning motivation,and then discusses the purpose and significance of the investigation.The subjects of this study were undergraduates of Prince of Songkla University.The relationship between different sex,different grades,different family backgrounds and the individual causes of the learners to the two language acquisition was investigated.Then the data of the survey were used to analyze the relationship between the learners’ motivation of Chinese learning.According to the survey,the characteristics of Chinese learning motivation of Chinese language majors in Thailand are: instrumental motivation.The influencing factors are gender,grade and family background.The proposal is to improve teachers,increase classroom activities and make use of educational media in order to increase students’ motivation for learning Chinese. |
