Being in the possession of the Shaanxi History Museum, the Duo You Ding was unearthed in Xiaquan Villiage,Chang'An County of Shaanxi Province in 1980.With a total of 275 characters(except for one repeated character, one combined character and one lost casting),the text of Duo You Ding is the longeset one of all the bronze antiques unearthed in Shaanxi Province after the Librartion in 1949.Since the excavation in 1980,scholars have made great achievements in studying the inscription of Duo You Ding, including researches of making textual criticisms and explanations, the backgroud history of the text as well as the division of history into the period.Nevertheless,it has been over 40 years that we haven't seen a comprehensive and integrate variorum of the inscription of Duo You Ding combining all the previous researches results.Under this circumstance,it is significant for us to accomplish the variorum,a collection of research results of the epigraph, that provides the convenience for the further related study of Duo You Ding. The paper is systematically divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction. The second part is about the divison of history of the period, the background of the text, the geographic postions and uncovering the mystery of the owner Duo You.The third part is the variorum of the inscription, with the comprehensive collection of the research results of the epigraph published before Feburary 2019.Furthermore,we also add comments on every line, combination of the key words of explanation, and exploration of the usage in Chinese bronze inscriptions in this portion. The fourth part includes four monographic researches, discussing some critical knotty words and phrases in any detail based on my own opinions.
