The metaphorical folklore words is one of the special vocabulary words in Chinese.In addition to expressing its conceptual meaning,such words also have the folklore semantics embodying the characteristics of national culture.The folklore semantics of the metaphorical folklore words are related to the national history and culture,and are the embodiment of the national way of thinking.It is difficult to understand in a literal sense.In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,if foreign students only understand the conceptual meaning of the metaphorical folklore words and do not know the cultural meaning of such words,in actual verbal communication,they may be caused by not understanding the cultural meaning of the words.Misunderstanding or communication failure.Therefore,in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of the metaphorical folklore words is necessary and should be taken seriously.This paper combines the metaphorical folklore words with the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,discusses the definition of the connotational folklore words and the formation reasons and characteristics of the folklore semantics,and teaches the design of the connotational folklore words.The full text is divided into the following parts:The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly includes the purpose and significance of the topic,the research content and methods,and the related research status.The second chapter is an overview of the metaphorical folklore words,including the definition and classification of the concept of connotational folklore words,the characteristics and formation reasons of the secular semantics of the metaphorical folklore words,and the description of the connotational folklore words in the external the meaning of Chinese teaching.The third chapter is the teaching selection strategy of the foreign language words in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.It is divided into two parts,one part is the investigation of the vocabulary outline and representative sets of Chinese folklore words in the textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language.The other part is the selection strategy of the metaphorical folklore words in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The fourth chapter is the teaching design of the metaphorical Chinese folklore words in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The specific teaching design is carried out by using the method of module teaching as the example of plant and color metaphorical words.
