The rapid rise and wide spread of social networking is a hot phenomenon in today's society.It is not only a new medium forhuman interaction,but also a new platform for self-presentation.College students are a special group in the society,they are not only the dominant force in today's popular culture,but also the backbone of social networks.Besides,their status and strategies in the social network reflect their normal life and learning reflection.Using questionnaires,interviews,content analysis and experiment,researchers have explored the influencing factor of self-presentation in social networks and the positive and negative effects of self-presentation in social networks.Self-presentation in social networks is influenced by internal factors(demographic differences,personality,motivation,and self-efficacy)and the external factors.Meanwhile,Self-presentation in social networks has a positive impact on interpersonal harmony,quality of friendship and psychological well-being.This research attempts to explore the correlation and mechanism of self-presentation in social networks,self-identification and life satisfaction of college students.This research uses the questionnaire survey method and uses the corresponding scale for different research contents,adopted Social Network Self-presentation Scale(CN),Ego Identity Status and Adolescent Students' Life Satisfaction Scale(CASLSS)to 1259 undergraduates from five universities in Zhengzhou,.Guilin,Qindao,Xian,Lanzhou.SPSS21.0 was used to analyze and process the figures.The effects of demography variables on self-presentation in social networks,self-identification and life satisfaction of college students were explored in this article.Furthermore,the researcher analyzed the relationship among the three factors,and mediation effect.Through scientific empirical methods,rich in domestic self-presentation in social networks,self-identification and life satisfaction of collegestudents at the same time,also for college students' psychological health education provides a new perspective.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Undergraduates adopt two different strategies in social network,referring Positive self-presentation and True self-presentation.True self-presentation strategy is higher than positive self-presentation.Gender,grade,birthplace have a no significant difference on self-presentation strategies,but there is significant difference in one-child family.(2)The college students showed an imbalanced distribution of the ego identity status with two-thirds of the subjects in the identity diffusion status.On the status of each dimension of ego identity,gender have a significant difference on current level of self-devotion;there is a significant difference in the three dimensions of college students in different grades;birthplace and one-child family have a significant difference on crisis scores of the past.(3)College students' life satisfaction at middle and lower level as a whole.Gender,grade,birthplace,one-child family have a significant difference on life satisfaction of college students.(4)There is a strong correlation among self-presentation strategies in social network,self-identification and life satisfaction of college students.(5)Life satisfaction can be predicted self-presentation strategies in social network and self-identification.(6)Self-identification plays a mediating role between self-presentation strategies in social network and life satisfaction.
