In today’s rapid development in the information age,social networking have become an indispensable daily needs of people in interpersonal communication,people are accustomed to on the social networking platform to present myself.College students walk in the front of The Times,active in social networks,and render themselves in their social networking strategy can be seen as the integrated embodiment of its learning and living conditions,need correct guidance from school and family fully understand.Previous studies have shown that self-monitoring can explain the differences between individuals presenting themselves,and it is a personality tendency to coordinate self-harmony and environmental harmony.The parenting style is the source of children’s shaping personality and behavior,which has a subtle effect on the children’s mind and body.Therefore,this research from the perspective of self-presentation strategy in the social network,analyzes the self-monitoring whether parents upbringing and social networks in the present strategies play a mediating role between themselves.This research use the way questionnaire revised parents(in Chinese),preparation of self-monitoring scale and Social Network Self-presentation strategies questionnaire(Chinese version)questionnaire for measuring four grade students of hunan province,doled out 582 questionnaires,529 valid questionnaires,questionnaires effective rate of 90.89%,valid data is retrieved using Spss22.0 processing and analysis.The findings are as follows:1.The parenting styles of college students are significantly different in terms of gender,only child and grade;There was no significant difference in the home location;2.Self-monitoring of college students showed significant differences in only children and grades,and there was no significant difference in gender and family location.3.The self-presentation strategy of college students’ online social network was significantly different from that of the students in the grade and family location,and there was no significant difference between the gender and the only child.4.There are two significant correlations between parental rearing patterns,self-monitoring and self-presentation strategies in social networks.5.Parental rearing patterms and self-monitoring of college students have a significant predictive effect on self-presentation strategies in social networks.6.Self-monitoring of college students plays an intermediary role between parental rearing pattern and self-presentation strategy in social network.
