The cultural exchanges between China and Cambodia have been developing for a long time.The continuous migration of Chinese to Cambodia in history has played an important role in the political,economic and cultural development of Cambodia.Since 2009,Hanban has begun to send Chinese to Cambodia.Teacher volunteers have been in this country for nearly ten years this year.Cambodian government organizations are also actively promoting Chinese language teaching activities.However,the study of the only one Confucius Institute in Cambodia is still in the infancy.It focuses on the teaching curriculum and teaching materials for individual teaching sites.The academic community knows little about the Institute,and it lacks the Institute of Confucius.Diligent development and student learning as much as possible.Therefore,this article is based on the author's field observation and practice at the Confucius Institute of the Royal Academy of Cambodia Sciences over the past one year.Based on previous research on Chinese language teaching in Cambodia,the author learned about the Confucius Institute through interviews with relevant responsible persons and interviews with teachers,then to know the history and development of Chinese language teaching,the hierarchical structure of students,and the construction of teachers' ranks.Using the methods of classroom observation summaries,teacher interviews,and student questionnaire surveys objectively describes and analyzes the current status of Chinese teaching at the Confucius Institute of the Royal Academy of Cambodia.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,which is mainly about the background of the topic and the meaning of the research purpose;the second part is the general situation of the Chinese teaching in the Confucius Institute,which is divided into the status quo of the Chinese teaching and the historical development of the Confucius Institute.,introduction of Chinese language teaching objects,teacher team construction,teaching resources,and cultural activities,etc.,and the summary of current problems;the third part is a questionnaire survey of the status quo of Chinese teaching in the Confucius Institute.They respectively conducted questionnaires for teachers and students.The fourth part based on the data analysis of the survey results,summed up the current advantages and disadvantages in the teaching of the Confucius Institute;the fifth part of the teaching methods,curriculum planning and class settings,teaching materials and cultural activities On the four aspects of the Confucius Institute,it put forward to corresponding teaching suggestions.The author conducted an on-the-spot investigation of the only Confucius Institute in Cambodia and put forward his own suggestions based on his own professional knowledge in order to analyze the problems found in the analysis,in order to provide teachers who can teach Chinese at the Confucius Institute of the Royal Academy of Cambodia in the future.Helped.However,there are still some deficiencies,mainly because the author is limited by the level of cognition and experiences,and may not have a deep understanding of the problem.The proposed solution also needs further consideration.
