In recent years,China’s economy has grown rapidly,which effectively makes Chinese become more and more popular around the world and attracts more foreigners to learn Chinese.Turkey as an important country alongside the Belt and Road,was deeply affected by China with increasing enthusiasm in learning Chinese.As China’s Hanban continues to promote Chinese language teaching,Confucius Institute has achieved some favorable results.Confucius Institute of Middle East Technical University is the first one in Turkey and its teaching condition is the focus of study of this thesis.This paper investigates the learning background and learning behavior,and Chinese teaching and classroom teaching of the Confucius Institute at the Middle East University of Science and Technology in Turkey.The study shows that the participants of the Turkish Middle East University of Science and Technology have made progress in Chinese teaching,teaching,teaching facilities and examinations related to Chinese teaching,and have certain advantages in class setting,faculty and teaching facilities.But there are also the lack of Turkish native Chinese textbooks,textbooks are not uniform,the curriculum objectives are not specific enough and non-operational,lack of abundant curriculum types;language testing is not standardized,for teachers,management and training is not enough system and other issues.In the final paper for these issues put forward constructive suggestions and thinking.The research of the paper will help people to understand the learning situation of Confucius Institute students in the Middle East University of Science and Technology in Turkey,understand some problems and shortcomings in the development of the school,understand some problems of Chinese teachers’ feedback in Chinese teaching process,Some difficulties and problems are encountered in Chinese learning,and the problems are analyzed and the constructive countermeasures and suggestions are put forward,which will help the Chinese Hanban understand the teaching situation of Confucius Institute in Middle East University of Science and Technology,also help the Turkish education sector to learn its teaching development,and for the development of Turkish Chinese teaching scholars and researchers to provide research materials and research basis.And then deepen cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries,and promote bilateral cooperation and exchanges between the two countries.
