With the enhancement of China’s comprehensive strength and the promotion of international status,Chinese international communication has ushered in a new era.Myanmar and China are friendly neighbors,which have long paukphaw friendship,linked mountains and rivers.Chinese education began in early nineteenth Century,which has a long history.With the increasing trade and cultural exchanges between Myanmar and China in recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the Chinese in Myanmar,and the number of people who learns Chinese is increasing.But at present,the research on Chinese teaching in the Burmese Language circle has lagged behind the growing enthusiasm of Chinese learning,and the teaching of Chinese characters,as the bottleneck of Chinese teaching as a foreign language,is particularly prominent.The author being as a Chinese volunteer teacher for ten months in Myanmar Mandalay Fuqing Confucius teaching classroom fulcrum--Bhamo Buddhist school at the beginning of March 2015 to the end of January 2016,learns the errors of the Chinese characters from high grade in Bhamo Buddhist schools and collects first-hand information from five aspects to study this dissertation.The first chapter is the introduction,the phenomenon of the errors of the Chinese characters keep appearing from high grade in Bhamo Buddhist school,this phenomenon for the study of the Chinese characters have a certain guiding role for the Myanmar regional teaching.The second chapter briefly introduces the northern Myanmar Chinese education,and the society and culture in Bhamo,Buddhist school history of Chinese learning background,to understand the situation of high grade Myanmar Bhamo Buddhist School Chinese characters teaching and students’ understanding of learning Chinese characters through the use of questionnaires,interviews,classroom observation etc.The third chapter,through the data analysis of the data collected during the teaching period,as a whole grasp of the types of students errors and error frequency,and then classification.The fourth chapter analyzes the errors in the acquisition of Chinese characters and the corresponding teaching strategies and improvement measures.The fifth chapter,summary.The author hopes to reduce the difficulty of teaching and improves the ability of understanding and writing Chinese characters,making some contribution to the teaching of high school in Myanmar Chinese characters.
