Objectives:The information traceability system for instrument quality management in central sterile supply department(CSSD)in stomatological hospital was built and the nursing quality evaluation index were established to evaluate the application efficiency of this system.This system has been clinically applied to the quality management of outpatient instrument,providing theoretical guidance and practice evidence to further promote the broad application of this information traceability system,which will improve the quality management of the infection control in stomatological hospitals.Methods:Our research group participated in the construction of the information traceability system of Smart Track software.According to the CSSD requirements and characteristics,the oral and disinfection supply nurses combined software engineers and senior network engineers integrated and improved the hospital information traceability system,and interactively accessed the scan code recognition system,radio frequency identification(RFID)system,and order management system,aims to establish the quality management system of information traceability system in the stomatological hospital.Based on the previous literature research,theoretical research,and qualitative research,combining with the operation of the Smart Track software,the quality evaluation system indicators of this information traceability system was initially constructed.Then,expert consultation was conducted through the Delphi Method and the experts'comments and reply were statistically analyzed,with screening indicators at all levels and giving weights,and the nursing quality evaluation indicators were finally constructed in CSSD in stomatological hospital.Finally,a retrospective study was conducted and we selected the outpatient instrument in CSSD processing from March 2018 to November 2018 as the control group,which has been implemented with used traditional manual recording methods.The outpatient instrument from March 2019 to November 2019 was selected as the experimental group,with the information traceability system management method.The differences in the cleaning pass rate,damage rate,packaging pass rate,and delivery pass rate between these two groups were statistically analyzed with the?~2 test.Results:1.The Smart Track software was constructed based on the information traceability system for the quality management in the CSSD.This system was complied with the clinical nursing management standards and worked well.2.the nursing quality evaluation indicators of CSSD were determined through the method of expert consultation:3 first-level indicators,10 second-level indicators,and41 third-level indicators.3.The results of the clinical application analysis showed that the quality management of outpatient instrument with the information traceability system implemented is significantly better than the traditional manual recording method,with the increase of the qualified rate of cleaning(97.62%vs 94.83%,P<0.05),qualified rate of packaging(97.02%vs 93.77%,P<0.05),and the qualified rate of delivery(98.07%vs 94.98%,P<0.05),as well as the decrease of the damage rate(0.30%vs 1.37%,P<0.05).Conclusions:The software of the information traceability system constructed by CSSD of stomatology hospital has stable operation and strong practicality.The quality evaluation indexes constructed for this system are comprehensive,including evaluation indexes for both nursing quality and software and hardware,which could comprehensively reflect the actual application ability of this system.Retrospective study and results showed that the information traceability system can significantly improve the qualified rate of cleaning,packaging,and delivery,and reduce the damage rate.Compared to the traditional manual recording method,the information traceability system can realize the full monitoring of the instrument processing process.The paperless operation also reduces manpower and material resources,and effectively improves the quality of CSSD medical instrument management.This study could also provide theoretical and practical basis for the broad clinical application of the information traceability systems.
